That's why I like to have details when sleuthing. There are a LOT of landscapers up here, a LOT of red Mustangs and a LOT of redheads. :wink:

I'm not sure anyone would see all of that detail on a truck...just notice a truck vs. a car, perhaps? I know I wouldn't, depending on where I was. I think it depends on where witness was when they said they saw a truck-were they driving down below? Or in another lot and could see across to the access road?

Stuff in Oregon likes to GROW and it likes to GROW a LOT. There are a lot of landscapers and groundskeepers on the western side of the Cascades. A LOT!!! I used to work for a landscape contractor. LOL!

LOL, I WAS a landscape contractor before I went to nursing school. And, my hair is kind of reddish....hmm.
Got tired of the rain and barkdust constantly between my skin and the raingear.....but yes, we do a lot of growing in these parts. And, we mow in the rain, and I recall the weather that day very well. It was cool and cloudy in the AM, with drizzles off and on thru most of the early part of the day. Not heavy rain, not really sprinkles, I guess you have to live here to know what I mean. Kind of like a fine mist with an occasional drip..

So really, if there was a witness who actually saw someone else, a second person near the Horman truck, then maintenance man story makes perfect since. He is in the field 0745 thru 0830.
Mystery Person # 2 has keys to truck, and after TH arrives at school and her & Kyron go into the school, person # 2 gets in and drives around, maybe went for coffee....until, waiting for a call perhaps from TH as to when to pull up to the designated meeting spot, the access road, and pick up Kyron. Which would be 0845 up to 0900, per TH email, she left @ 0900.

The maintenance man does drive a white truck, however it is clearly marked City of Portland with the well known Rose Medallion decals on the side that city vehicles sometimes sport. Also, had huge mesh screen on back window, tool box, and kind of beat up looking, with cones, other equipment in back bed. Has distinctive government license plate, colored yellow/orange, which other oregon cars do not use. And, not a double cab truck.

IMO, his truck description is only secondary to the fact that he didn't see TH's truck, but I wonder, after 2 months, if people would remember those details or only "white truck"... MOO

Okay...so how about this...

Maybe TH was parked in the south parking lot originally, which is why they asking for that specific time they did...was that 8:00-8:45? Then sometime after 8:45 (TH says she left the school at 9) other witnesses have placed the truck either ON the access road OR on the shoulder of Skyline and they are looking for more witnesses to confirm? Seems plausable.

I would be very interested in that also. If these kids were without a chaperone outside, it opens up more possibilities.

I think we need to get some people from WS to ask the questions and we'd get to the bottom of it.

I have never fallen, actually I have never been close to getting off this fence.

This article actually cements my belief that LE is trying to build a case against Terri and really have never looked elsewhere. Which scares me....

There are many things that bother me as many of you have pointed out about this "new" development but the 2 biggest things are

1. The kids outside looking at plants. This tells me that there was probably no supervision that day

2. The timeline. If Terri could've done this in the timeline we are suppose to think she is one smart and very lucky woman

I know that LE knows more than what they are saying however after the PC yesterday I still think that LE has no idea what happened to Kyron

I'm thinking that Terri's lawyer is interested in what this man has to say. Not only about the truck that may have been his, but also about possibly seeing unescorted children outside at a potentially crucial time. Could point to a less -than -structured atmosphere that morning where anything could have happened.

The thing is Terri has a receipt that places her in a store several miles away at around 9:12.

When considering drive time, walking into the store, shopping for whatever, and actually checking out to come up with a time stamp of 9:12, there is a very narrow window for Terri, in her large white truck, to have abducted Kyron from that side of the school.

That is how it seems to be shaping up. Will be hard to get everyone on this thread to think that way, but if we made a list of evidence that confirms her alibi and what she did that morning vs. a list of her lies....the list would tip very much to one side.

I ask this group - why do you want her to be guilty? What if some sex offender in the greater Portland area was able to grab him? Should we be exploring this? Yes - the skeletons fell out of the closet when the light shone on this family. But maybe we are looking in the wrong place???

I am one of those very few that is sitting on a very lonely fence. I think Terri and family may be one messed-up "blended" family with a ton of issues but I still have not seen proof that Terri harmed, hid or otherwise interfered with Kyron on June 4th, and really, that is all I am asking for.

It's entirely possible that there was a chaperone standing inside the doorway watching the kids who just didn't want to get wet, but would have been out of view from him.
