SM as a potential focus of the investigation

I know it's a little O/T but responding to your post. I spend a lot of time on the unidentified thread and try to match unidentified bodies to missing persons. I find that when I'm around people, I'm looking at all their facial features.

I look at pics of missing children thinking I might see one somewhere. But I am not sure most people notice those things. But then again...I remember perfectly this one lady I saw in the parking lot yesterday and what she was driving. But...I can't tell you anything about anyone else that might have been there in the lot also. So maybe that is why no one remembers seeing anything. In one way I don't understand why no one saw TH leaving because there was a lot going on that day. But then again I can understand why possibly no one saw her. Does that make sense? Except...usually in a school, I would assume most people nod to one another/say hi when in the hallway or on the sidewalk since they usually share a common reason for being there.

BBM. Respectfully- God forbid one of my children was missing: I would give less than a spit if LE told me to go about *business as usual*. If by some miracle of God I can manage to pull myself out of bed- it wouldn't be to 'hit the gym'. I'd be hitting the media airwaves, or hitting the streets searching & pleading with the public to look at my babys picture. I understand that everyone copes with grief differently, but never have I seen a case of a truly innocent parent fall into normal so quickly & easily. Clean sheets...................? :sick: Where is Kyron sleeping?

OK, so she went to the gym and she liked her clean sheets...no big deal...maybe she's just trying to keep busy or as Jetaime said, maybe LE advised her to try to keep to a normal routine.

Well, actually the gym does a irk me a little but what really bothers me is her taking the time to post "hitting the gym" and whatever she said about her clean sheets. Who thinks about social networking at a time like this? Her child is missing but she's posting about herself. IF she had to update anything, she should have let her friends know KYRON IS MISSING!!!!! in huge red letters instead of her personal whereabouts and comfort status.

I'm not sure I'm being clear why it sits wrong with me but it does and I'm putting it out there. I'm still not completely convinced she was involved and I'm trying to keep an open mind but actions like this tend to make me just a little suspicious.

imo, there could only be one reason and that's to divert attention away from. Maybe from where one's actual location really was at that time.

So Kaine took her mustang to work that day so she could use the truck cos the science project would not fit int he mustang? Maybe? Did Kaine follow her in the truck wile she drove her beloved mustang, dropped off the science project then went on to work and left her to drive her own car home, or what? If so, was kaine in the white truck the LE are so interested in? And what motive would he have for doing away with his own son?

I believe it has been said that Kaine worked at home on Fridays. In any case, his email to his company/staff said,"when WE went to pick up Kyron from the bus stop." I will try and find the link, but it definitely said "we" in regards to going to the bus stop. This makes me think he was home...at least by 3:45 to go the bus stop.

ITA with nyvictoria also, exactly my sentiments. It would be like one of our kids missing and us sitting on the boards chatting away. Not exactly normal. Although I did post alot after my dad died because my forum friends really gave me comfort.

BTW happy fathers day to all dads out there AND to single mothers, who are moms AND dads everyday!!!

IF Terri had took Kyron, he would have to at least suspect she's lying/holding something back. I don't think a spouse would be that clueless; he may not want to admit it to himself, but IMO there's no way he wouldn't have his doubts.

My oldest daughter has a BF of 9 years who COULD BE that clueless, seriously. He's a true doop-de-doo. BUT, Kaine works for Intel and has an impressive job there, so he ain't no dummy. But....denial can be pretty strong when something shocking like this comes along. jmo

I know what you mean. There will be lots of apologizing from many camps if that's what happens.

However, it's not just feelings, etc. It was odd from the beginning when LE said other parents didn't need to worry. That would have been totally irresponsible if they thought some perp or SO had brazenly gone into a school during the school day and snatched a student from one of the halls. They would have had police posted at the school for the last two weeks! But that's not how it played out....

I wonder what caused her first two divorces? I'm not asking in the interest of being gossipy - I'm asking because history tends to repeat itself. What does she value that she wasn't getting in those first two marriages (or if her husbands divorced her, what did they value that they weren't getting from her?) Knowing things like that can help you figure out what is really important to a person.

I think the DUI/reckless endangerment thing is important, too. That kind of thing is not a "mistake" - it's putting your own enjoyment/need for drink over the welfare of your child (and others on the road as well) and speaks to ones priorities (and selfishness) as well. Drunk driving is one of my pet peeves - add the fact that a child was in the car and it makes my head explode.

I've mostly been lurking on here about this case, but I've read the latest news and some blogs. Lots of interesting theories out there.

I will be the first the eat crow but I hate to see that the SM is being tried and convicted without even being mentioned as a person of interest. History tells us it's someone close to Kyron - I get it - but I really think there's someone they have in mind and it's not the SM. Who else are we not thinking of? I DO think it could be someone the SM knows or has a relationship with, even a boyfriend. This said, I am not convinced she directly harmed Kyron, but that rather she might not be telling the whole story of that day. And the FB posting is odd too. Was she just so nonchalant about his disappearance because she knew where she left him and where he was and thought he would be back or? If she were so calculating to carry out the act herself, then logic would tell me she wouldn't be posting something like that, making everyone suspicious of her. Know what I mean?

There are a lot of unanswered questions too: Was she going to the talent show? What day was that picture of Kyron taken (that's easy to find out btw) and was anyone else driving her car or WITH her that day? There were so many people there that day, it could really be anyone, so why are no parents coming forward? Surely one of them would talk about seeing Kyron or not. Then again, what a perfect time to steer the focus on all the other parents.

I hope to God it's not the SM, but I do think she knows something or is protecting someone.

I won't feel bad about feeling suspicious, in any case ie husband is murdered - the spouse is always the first suspect, there has to be a reason LE has not stated that the family has been cleared.

DUI w/ a child in the car speaks to me of irresponsibility and disregard for the childs life, as well as very very poor judgement. It just shocks me to the core. I am appalled by drunk driving, as you are, and have zero tolerance for it at all. In fact I am a non drinker and don't even like to be around people who are drinking, having been raised by an alcoholic father and having a family full of drunks. I wonder if this is the reason she has been a reading specialist/ volunteer, or whatever, instead of a full-fledged teacher. Maybe that on her record has held her back.
I agree with your statement that knowing a bit about her first marriages would go a long way in figuring out whats in her head. Sounds like at least one of her ex's is a decent guy, as he pays child support regularly for an adopted child, unlike that child's apparent deadbeat bio dad.
To add, if I am wrong about her,I honest to God will write her a letter of apology. Somewhere on here I saw their address, and I mean it, I will do it.
Until then my hinky flag is flying high and she has a lot to overcome before I will believe in her complete innocence.

I am worried about physical evidence, what if there is none? What if its just the "maybe I saw them leave together" words of a few people? Terri is supposed to be such a CSI/ crime buff, maybe she has come up with a very clever way to dispose of Kyron, "if she did it". What if he's never found? What then? Life goes on as normal in the Horman household, minus poor Kyron?
