HvB putting on another show. He could just look down but chooses to try to elicit J Desai's sympathies by moving to another bench.

But easier to walk in the unlocked back door.

Yep, open back door. All suggesting that De Zalze was considered very safe. I live in a very safe neighbourhood in the UK and even whilst occupied we do not leave the back or patio doors open once darkness falls.

I have never been to sure whether the back gate was open, even though there was a key on a string. Why would B. go to the extremes of having somebody jump over the wall if he could prove the back gate was open? Just as an optional extra way of entry, I suppose.

I tell you what is so obvious about these murders and it's easy to overlook it when you get caught up in the small detail.

They all happened inside and at the entrance to HvB's bedroom. Of all the places in the house, the commotion happens in the room of the only one of five people to get away without a single axe wound.

I've read that Martin was very security conscious. That flies in the face of a side gate with the key in the lock and an open back door. Even though it's a secure estate, there had been incidents in the past, albeit robberies, but who in SA leaves doors open/unlocked. I'd like to know who said Martin was security conscious. Maybe it was HvB. That would explain a lot.

We are back. Watching video straight away. We are heading back to inside house.

Now we head towards stairs leading up. Dont know if I'll be able to report on anymore after this.

There are blood marks (dropping from second floor) on stairs.

Axe lies on landing between stairs: bloody, handle seems clean where someone would have held it. Blood on blade.

We move upstairs and I can't report on this. Apologies. Too graphic.

I wonder if they're watching this in silence or would there be a commentary?

We are in the upstairs rooms. In the parents room. Books next to bed, phones still on charge.

Marlis room. Office chair in front of desk. Running shoes in corner. Bed slept in. Phone still on charge.

Marli has Macbook next to bed on other bedside table.

That's the end of the video. Galloway asks H if he took the video. H says yes. State ends questioning.

Botha stands up and takes over. Goes back to how to open the evidence box. Three stickers to prevent any tampering. H says yes.

G is finished the re-exam B starts with further questions

B in the video there are plaster chips at bottom of the stairs / tiles did u mark that? H no

B: we noticed a number of footprints through the house not marked, why weren't they all marked?

H: some were marked but its more about the manner of how the evidence flows

H: I tried to collect relevant evidence, according to me. B- yes you collected 38 but there were much more

Those are all the questions for Hitchcock

Judge Desai- took videos after Marli had been removed? H- yes, JD so that means that paramedics must have walked there

H says he captured what was relevant to him.He marked 38 footsteps but there were more.H says they were same as the ones marked.

Prime, do you want me to do either Tracey or Molyneaux?

Thanks JJ, either one, you choose, Molyneaux doesn't post as much as Tracey.

I think news24 are covering the cape storm and a fire?

They're covering both. You choose because you do all the tweets.
