Yes, the capsule is there and ready to go.
The miners are there and ready to go.

We also have a statement from the College of Architects of Malaga dissasociating themselves from the architect who was claiming there was no way Julen was in the well because it simply wasn't possible for him to slide all the way down.

Given the statements made by the architect Jesus Maria Flores in some media in relation to the case of Julen child in Totalán, # COAMálaga has sent the media a statement dissociated from their interventions.

We also have the live feed up again this morning as cybervampira just posted above. Here is the youtube link for those who don't facebook.

It seems to be that we enter decisive hours. There are less than 4 meters and the Mining Rescue Group, world elite, those who are going to play life by hand chopping from three to four meters to 100 meters under the ground, will enter into action soon.

"The interval between the last picture of Julen and the call to 112 warning of the fall is 8 minutes" (An important fact for all those who question and question the parents.)

Regarding the mining brigade, he stressed that "in terms of technology, they handle it perfectly, and not only have they intervened in lots of rescues, but they are constantly rehearsing in the tailings of Asturias where they make galleries". He also explained that the gallery that will be excavated will have dimensions of one meter wide by 1.20 meters high and will not be exactly horizontal, but "a little ascending to facilitate the fall of material."

The mining brigade displaced from Asturias to Totalán (Málaga) has evaluated "the risks and has all the solutions provided" in the excavation of the tunnel to access the well where the small Julen fell, according to Juan López-Escobar, delegate of the College of Engineers of Mines of the South. The miners, who are waiting to intervene in the next few hours, "continue with the illusion of being able to get Julen alive, and that hope moves them, although it is not easy", he added to the journalists López-Escobar, who has met with the technical director of said brigade.

The chances of finding Julen alive are complicated as the hours pass. "We are in the time limit," explained pediatrician Jorge Muñoz, who works in cooperation and who attends ABC from Chad, where he is in a two-week intervention. His experience tells him that every day that passes is more complicated to get Julen alive from that narrow hole. "Oxygen is important, but if it does not have water or food, it would not survive more than a week or ten days," Muñoz said. You can have air for the composition of soil, since the agglomeration of slate stone, according to geologists, lets air through.

The area where Totalán works is a "very complex" geological unit, formed by phyllites and quartzite composition materials. As said on Sunday, the delegate of the College of Engineers of Malaga, Ángel García Vidal, goes from hard materials to very hard ones.
13:00
The drilling of a parallel tunnel to which the child Julen fell in Totalán (Málaga) is currently at a depth of 53 meters, seven meters from the target, after having subjected the drilling machine to some maintenance work. The coordinator of the team, Ángel García, delegate of the Association of Civil Engineers of Malaga, explained that drilling continued throughout the night "in extreme working conditions and with materials of enormous hardness".

When it arrived in the early morning at 52 meters, it was decided that the driller "had to maintain and change the mechanisms with which such a complex machine works". "We are at a level so deep and in such difficult working conditions, that this and any machine of these characteristics that is on the market, which are not so common, would have the same conditions after so many hours working and especially with the materials that we are finding ", Garcia added.

Rescuers drilling to save Spanish boy, two, who fell down well unlikely to reach him before Tuesday | Daily Mail Online

Police drone pictures showed the magnitude of the massive operation to reach Julen.

Nearly half a dozen mechanical diggers have been scooping up earth on the barren hillside above the tiny hole the youngster fell down, in the race against time to reach Julen.

One of the drilling machines, described as the most powerful in Spain, was taken off a job on a motorway near Madrid so it could be used in the rescue operation.

Rescue experts expect to drill their horizontal tunnel across to the boy by hand.

A special capsule capable of supporting the weight of two people and oxygen equipment has been created so Julen can be brought out alive if he survives what is set to be at least seven days underground.

The biggest problem facing the mining brigade of Asturias displaced to Totalán (Malaga) is the hardness of the land, which could delay the rescue and force them to use some explosive, which would allow them to remove the land by microvoladuras. This is what Efe assured that was the head of this brigade between 2005 and 2009, Santiago Suárez García, who through WhatsApp maintains contact with the brigadistas who last Tuesday moved to Totalán to help in the rescue work of the small Julen .
14:09
The miners' brigade that will participate in the Julen rescue began operating in January 1912. It carried out its first intervention in the María Luisa mining well in Langreo (Asturias). They faced the effects of a flammable and poisonous gas explosion. In 1914 they made first rescue of people. In a May 20 gas explosion, which killed four people and seriously injured another. Defendants for extreme performances underground were established as Rescue Association in the Mines (A.S.M.) in 1925. Read it here, by J. J. Madueño.

The team of psychologists accompanying the Julen family tries to control and regulate the emotions of the relatives in the face of uncertainty about the rescue of the child and in circumstances that are exceptional. Francisca Ruiz, vice-dean of the College of Psychologists of Eastern Andalusia, explained today to Efe that, since the past 13 were activated by the emergency service 112 two specialists who are permanently with the parents of the child and their families and are rotating between the different partners.

So far they support the operation to rescue Julen Civil Protection volunteers from the municipalities of Malaga Moclinejo, Rincon de la Victoria, Vélez-Málaga, Canillas de Aceituno, the capital of Malaga, Almogía and El Burgo "although we have requests from all municipalities that they want to collaborate, but we organize the device so that there are the people that are needed, "said the manager of Emergencies 112 Andalusia in Malaga, Rafael Gálvez, who added that the 112 emergency device is wider and also other administrations.
17:11
The person in charge of Emergencies 112 Andalusia in Malaga -organism that coordinates in these emergency situations to the Civil Protection volunteers-, Rafael Gálvez, has assured that since the operation began there are about 120 volunteers who have participated in the different tasks that they have assigned. Gálvez has indicated that daily between 18 and 20 volunteers are responsible for the provisioning at breakfast, lunch and dinner, and collaborate with shuttles with vehicles from the command post of first intervention to which is located at the junction between Totalán and the area of Olías .

I don't even know what to write anymore. Just holding my breath and a tiiiny bit of hope ...

Exactly the same thoughts here. My little 1.5yo is running around playing & I want so badly for Julen to still be alive, so he can recover & continue on with his childhood. This has felt like the longest week for us, strangers waiting, & I can’t even imagine what it’s been like for his family & the rescuers.

"Any questions, ask, get it to me, we know the memory operation and I also understand the difficulties they are having," said Rodrigo Reveco, the inventor of the Fénix capsule that was designed to rescue the 33 miners trapped in a mine. Chile in 2010.
18:14
Reveco, the inventor of the Phoenix capsule, has insisted on encouragement for the entire operation and has transferred "a lot of strength, a lot of patience and a lot of calm". "We have to take adrenaline in our favor, we can not fall into errors, mistakes in underground issues, in mines, are paid dearly, are paid with life."
