says it is a mistaken belief that juries always get heart-involved with murders of children. Yes, if a stranger is accused, no when a parent is involved, especially the mother. Juries just don't want to believe mothers murder.

says that on the 15th one of the verified things that set CA off was the photo of a mostly naked OCA wrapped in an American flag holding a beer.

One of the answers he gave on the radaronline interview (still looping right now for those that want to watch) was that it was virtually unheard of/never been done to give so many details in OS without proof. Linda was limited and couldn't say in closing that he didn't prove - as they were prevented in doing so due to "burdenship" I think he said. This follows a previous question earlier - that he has debated in the Florida bar recently re if the OS was done without a good faith basis - as that would be an ethical violation. It was consensus that FCA said to Dr.s that it was not what happened, but they can't know what private communications she had with her attorneys and possibly she changed her story. ( So, that's done, stick a fork in it folks ) He said......... "We'll Never Know:............

tries to figure out what OCA might have told herself, what rationalization, that murdering Caylee was in Caylee's best interest, or, just that Caylee would talk and the lies crash down, or... he doesn't know. Nobody can.

This quote hurts....

The Orange County Sheriff's Office "totally botched" the calls by Roy Kronk in August 2008 reporting what turned out to be Caylee's remains, which were not discovered until that December. "Everybody ended up looking like an *advertiser censored* and a nation spent an extra four months searching around the country for a lost little girl who was a quarter mile from home," he writes.

Yup...I that feeling came true...got called to cover a shift this AM....

All thanks to, iirc former, LE Cain

describes OCA on 1st day of trial as having "her puss on," annoyed, ready to tangle.

We have to accept that we may never know the truth, it is buried inside Casey ( I think he meant Caylee). Ashton said he told George that the day before opening statements.

Seriously where do these people exist? No - no one likes it but over 200 children a year are killed by a parent....how could a juror deny what happens almost every day?

says OCA didn't cry when telling them her molestation lies, but sure did when JB presented that in OS..JA's conclusion- she was well coached.

All that flouncing and frowning and punching her lawyers was all an act though wasn't it? In the end - too chicken to even take the stand....

Oh hi OCA!.... :seeya:

Baez...you can absolutely_________________
:nevermind: I like it here...

So which ones (of the accusations) does Baez agree are true? Since his statement says many of them are false? Huh? Waiting, Jose...

says OCA's greatest gift was to tell believable lies that had just enough truth in them to fool the gullible. The defense was "classic Casey."

OCA ran the show. "Jose was the mouthpiece, but Casey was the architect."

says he was critical of JB's throw everything at the wall and see what sticks approach to OS, but that now he sees JB may have better understood the jury's "level of analysis." Ouch, and well deserved.

Because it didn't happen in their neighborhood? This jury had NO connection to the community where the crime happened. They may have thought differently if the body of a little girl was found at the end of their street.

sorry one last time,Beach, but here's this:

"As an attorney "it's mind blowing how effective you be when you are not limited by the truth."

discussing JB's opening statement. essentially says that Baez simply didn't care that he couldn't prove any of his scenarios.

((really, Casey must have pinched herself at the good fortune of finding an attorney whose world view so closely resembled her own. ))

She told the prosecution the molestation lies?? I'm confused.

I am enjoying listening to JA read this on Audible. He certainly is a typically self-confident attorney--but probably should be considered EARNED arrogance! :)

In reply to question upthread-- Re Introducing evidence on check kiting and thefts etc- JA WAS NOT ALLOWED TO DO THIS-- past character evidence not admissable, unless the DT opened the door.
