He sure didn't mean, "How'd I do at making her want to come back?" -- not with his stuff about the mood swings and "boob job" and hitting him with a steak and all. He's more focused on whining about the media than worrying about where Stacy is. I have to wonder why the media is a bigger concern to him than the investigation into Kathleen or Stacy's disappearance. For whatever reason, I think he believes that the investigations are going to come up empty.

Guys like this don't think about their actions. He has already justified anything he has done. In his head, women are emotional hormonal *advertiser censored* who need to be kept in their place. When they step out of line, he bullies.
When that doesn't work he gets more abusive. In his head, they weren't listening to him. When they were going to expose his abusiveness he got rid of them. Wife 3 pushed too hard, she was going to expose him. Stacy probably did the same. She probably knew too much.
The only way to survive this type of relationship is to play their game and never let them know what you know. He is a true sociopath. Never corner them.

DP reminds me of a taunter - he bullies, teases, and he's almost imitating someone sayng, 'haha.....you can't get me' plus also trying to give the impression of someone who wants to outsmart everyone. Sort of pulling the wool down over their faces.
He has not yet met the person who can take him down....there is one out there. Be it a district attorney, prosecutor or just an inmate in a prison I hope he is incarcerated in (if found guilty! ahem!!!).
Did I also read that his 2nd wife said he used to keep a knife on a chain around his neck? What is his problem? He is one disturbed individual. :loser: Can you imagine the talk around the police station...thankfully this investigation is being handled, I believe, by the State Police.

As a father of two young children, I can assure you that there is no way POSSIBLE I could up and leave my kids. I would need to be put on serious medication if I could not be with them on a regular basis, let alone never speak to them again.

I say this because Stacy gave BIRTH to her kids and for her to just up and leave would make her the villian, which she is not.

This is not in her makeup according to those who are close to her.

The chance Stacy took off with another man, didn't tell anyone but the man she feared the most (Drew) and then shuts off contact from everyone in the world, would be like you and I driving to seperate states tonight, playing the lotto and both of us winning it that same night.

I agree that the State Police know. I think the BPD is scrambling to hide any and all evidence of anything that DP has done wrong while with the department and any other cops that were friends with DP, are running away as fast as they can from anyone (media, etc.) finding out they were either partners, friends, etc. with DP.

You are indeed a wonderful human being. However, I knew a very educated woman who left her husband and daughter for another man. She did not seek custody of her 3 yr. old daughter, did not want her daughter in her life. So, it does happen. However, I don't think Stacy did this.

DP isn't worried about law enforcement because he believes they will cover for him or have covered for him. He's worried about the media because there is so much attention. His friends will not be able to cover for him because of all the attention. The dirt is going to come out. I bet they are all trying to figure out how to cover their butts. There are women who do leave their husbands for another man and don't take their children.

Not everyone is the same!! But we have a male here with very serious past reports of control, abuse, etc. and in a postion that he can control the outcome of what anyone finds, etc. (being in the law enforcement that is).
