A person's own moral code however is no excuse to Play women. There is a difference between seeing other people and playing them. Even Lisa had a problem with his inappropriate flirting and constant texting of other women when he was supposed to be in an exclusive relationship with her. Unfortunately for Travis, he played a psychopath and did not take the signs as a reason to stop. Being with a person in private and bad mouthing them to others as he did with Jodi was probably what broke the camel's back.

She drew him in with sex and all kinds of sex he probably only fantasized about. She only taped him to have something over him. To use it against him. She was always evil she just hid it. HE did not use her. HE TOLD her he was not marrying her, Taking her to cancun except SHE STILL drove from another state with gas cans so no one would know she was there. WHY?? To kill him. She used him and thought she could get him to over look her crazy ways and when he did not, She plotted to kill him. Drove there had sex with him to exhaust him and then killed him. She is no victim.

I disagree. I don't think he played Jodi in the way you mean. They were having a purely sexual relationship and she knew he was dating other people. There hasn't been any evidence that he was promising her exclusivity while secretly dating other woman. She never said that; she testified that they kept being "friends with benefits" while they were both seeing other people casually. She was perfectly aware of what was going on. I don't recall any testimony of him badmouthing her behind her back -- he seemed to be perfectly willing to tell her what he thought of her.

It sounds like Dr. Geffner has been standing in the wings to rebut Dr. D's testimony and prop up ALV. When the DT saw an opening with Dr. Horn's rebuttal testimony stating that it was 'probable' that TA was incapacitated after the gunshot wound, they decided to 'double down'. It's ridiculous to pit a neuropsychologist against an M.D. pathologist! If the DT was serious, why didn't they hire one of the top guns, Michael Baden or Henry Lee, to refute Dr. Horn. Obviously, they didn't feel that JA's lies were worth the $$$.

If JSS allows these witnesses, I wonder if JM will ask Dr. Hayes if it is within the scope of her expertise to opine as to whether or not a bullet to the brain could be immediately or rapidly incapacitating. All she has to do is say no, and there goes Dr. Geffner's testimony out the window.

It could be short and sweet indeed.

It's hard to speculate without knowing them. But I gather that they both had messy boundaries. And she became, or was mentally ill.

Maybe one of the verified lawyers can confirm, but perhaps the scope of the questioning will be only limited to what Dr. Demarte testified to and that will limit the amount of questions to be asked under direct examination? lease: We all know Juan will make quick work of this, but the defense will take a mile if you give them an inch to start with.

Back and forth and back and forth..... Pretty soon we'll be down to arguing what the meaning of "is" is.

I'm trying to decide if I should take Thursday and/or Friday off to watch the closing arguments undisturbed. Or maybe Monday for possible verdict?? Decisions, decisions.

Hope, I do not see the jury getting this case before Monday afternoon at this point. Your guess is as good as mine, but we know they like to claim Jodi cannot physically hold up past a certain point in the day. If this were Judge Perry I could see him holding night court, but I do not see this judge going past 6pm tomorrow.

At least we are scheduled to begin at nine am, which indicates she may have cleared her normal case calendar, and they hopefully took all the time they needed in the sealed hearing this today hashing out what they would normally spend half the day fighting about at sidebar.

I wish the jury would get the trial on Friday, but based on past experience, and how incredibly desperate the defense must be at this point, I fully expect them to file another motion for mistrial in the am, or ask for more time to depose the state's latest witness addition. I feel Jodi having a migrane is almost predictable as well.
Then they will object like crazy, to stall, over any juror questions. :stormingmad::stormingmad:

Verdict will be in 1 hour after jury instructions are given so take Friday off!!
