I came across someone with that last name in Toronto but fb page disappeared in five min. I am not sure if I am quoting and replying correctly.

Oh lordy.. he refers to Mark.S as SAY10.. a play on words for 'satan'. Sounds like a delightful soul to me.

Have confirmed that the house was sold to yet ANOTHER person <modsnip>with AGAIN the same initials. Whole lotta MS's around here, as opposed to the BS that usually floats around! ;-}

Buyer does have a hyphon in their name however.

The picture that someone just posted of the Nova, the brickwork is different on the driveway. Unless it's been redone recently.

its the same google image and picture have both blockwork on each side of paved driveway

Smich is a surname, which to me, has a Balkan ring to it, possibly Croatian. If you remove the "h", then it becomes non-anglicized:

Neighbours told CBC Hamilton that police have been at the home since about 9 a.m. Officers were still at the house in the early afternoon.


Tactical officers and plainclothes police were seen coming and going from the home and gathered around vehicles outside. A neighbour reported seeing officers with guns drawn on the street.

I think this may have been directed at me, since my post was removed...but just to clarify, I meant what was with the profile picture on the "Free Mark Smich" Facebook page, not of the user I quoted. I see how that could've been mistaken though.

Given that the person that started this page used the word "tooken" ("no statements tooken"), I'd say we are dealing with a wise one...lol...

Maybe somebody local should call in this FB page to Crimestoppers, etc.....just to ensure that LE are aware of it and are watching it. You never know what info an angry supporter will let slip out of the bag, IMO.
