Isabelle.. It's been edited to IMO. After all, no one is right or wrong here, it is a forum where all members are entitled to their opinions. Please provide these FBI links you speak of? I personally checked, and can view no new information the FBI have released since the criminal complaint was filed. Please do not accuse of us of not keeping in mind the victims - no one has been convicted of this crime at this stage. Some of us prefer to keep an open mind to each and every possibility. I highly doubt these new confession claims are true, the likelihood of him being in possession of any pen or locating a pen that would have the ingredients to mark certain surfaces of the boat appears slim and we have seen many photos of the boat after his capture, there is not one photo that displays this written confession? IMO!
But what is the purpose of saying he wrote something if he did not. We all must remember that right after he was in custudy he explained what they had done.

It is like he never denied anything. The notion that a small room (his hospital room) with LE, a judge , cops everywhere, nursing staff, doctors, a court reporter would get together and make up all the confessing he did after capture.

There is no gain here, to make up he , like most terrorists, wanted everyone to know why they did what they did.Its a hallmark of terrorist attacks.

Further more what he reported intially in hospital room has thus far proven to be accurate.

There have been no discrepency between what they said he said to them in those first 72 hours in the hospital - so what would the reason be for saying he left note in boat and it is a "lie" ?

That's ridiculous. Factual evidence? What factual evidence would satisfy you?

I posted a bunch of links earlier about what follows:

He did not run over his brother. The guy that filmed the whole thing told NY Times hours afterward that older one fell , younger one fled . Peroid.

The injuries sustained (medical examiner) say NOTHING about a human being having injuries indicating that he was dragged a long distance with a heavy SUV accelerating .

IMO, the pictures of him dead on the table are far more congruent with the LE SUV that was put in gear and let "drive " toward him are far more compelling.

Adjectives used by two eyewitness, that night used the verbage "run over". All the dragging stuff started the next day !

THe police chief also made no mention, in the beginning, of younger mauling and dragging older one.

The dragging nonsense, IMO,was an internet thing. No MMM repoerted that till much later. Mauling is certainly more exciting and rivoting than LE shot him, he fell, the LE SUV that the cop put in gear and aimed it at the older one on the ground just makes more sense

..There is not one iota of evidence that gives any validity to being dragged, or being killed by younger - none!

The medical examiner conclusion death caused by heart failure.

Are we saying that we think a medical examiner would fail to mention that the deceased appeared to have wounds associated with being dragged under a SUV at high speeds.

Forensically, older was , IMO NOT dragged.........nor killed by younger. Younger only issue was flee scene.

None of LE in the middle of the road that had to dodge the fleeing car ever mentined that older was underneath the vehicle as younger made his escape!

You can make eye contact even with sunglasses on. C'mon.
I think the point was not eye contact but a witness to a owner walking away from a backpack that happened to be the orgin of the explosion!

I believe he was too busy having his legs blown off to do much of anything. :moo:
There was lapse of time before it went off , younger had to get away. IMO, enough time to yell out hey your backpack!

We bury serial killers, murders, rapists, pedophiles, arsonists, daily - always been confused about the ruckus ?

With all due respect CARIIS, what are you talking about?

There was nothing in my post that you quoted that has anything to do with burial.

According to many reputable msm sources, authorities say DT run over TT as DT was trying to escape. Excuse me if I go with this and not some conspiracy blogs.
As for heart failure, no, it's not listed as a reason for his death on his death certificate. He died due to gun shot wounds and blunt force trauma (which would presumably be due to being run over by a car).

"Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, was killed after a shootout with police in Watertown several days after the bombings. Authorities said he was also run over by his younger brother, who was making a desperate bid to escape police in a sport utility vehicle."

He did run over his brother.
There are several LE and witness accounts stating it.

How do you know he didn't do this?

Exactly.

Questioning Jeff's account of what happened is so disrespectful IMO.

Jeff is a victim who wanted LE to know what he saw ASAP. I don't understand why anyone would question what he said.

I'm sure it happened just as he said it did. What would be Jeff's reason to lie about it? IMO there is no reason.

From the NYTimes, from the guy who video taped the whole shootout, who was interviewed shortly afterwards (memory issues less etc)>

Here is what he reported:

Meanwhile, Mr. Kitzenberg said, the other man got back into the sport utility vehicle he had been driving, turned it toward officers and “put the pedal to the metal.” The car “went right through the cops, broke right through and continued west.”

He left behind his older brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who had been gravely wounded, and who was taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

If any of us were an eyewitness would we not think it important , shocking, gross etc etc to state: he got back into the sport utility vehicle he had been driving, dragged his older brother under the car for 45 feet turned it toward officers and “put the pedal to the metal.” The car “went right through the cops, broke right through and continued west.”

Visually, it makes much more sense (and correlates with photos) of the LE SUV (not Mercedes), in gear, heading toward him, being shot and falling down, and then being run over by the unmanned LE SUV.

What I am saying is the freshest reports from that evening mention nothing about a human being dragged anywhere.

From Huffingtonpost the statement from the doc in the ER that worked on him:

Dr. David Schoenfeld said 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev was unconscious and had so many penetrating wounds when he arrived at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center early Friday that it isn't clear which ones killed him, and a medical examiner will have to determine the cause of death.
SO, are we all saying that the ER doc, would totally leave out that the patient appearred to be dragged a substanital distance? Are we all saying that a body being dragged by vehicle would not have injury specifically from being dragged that would be different from a bullet>

Here are a few MSM links that say he DID run over his brother...

Tsarnaev died Friday after
a gun battle with police. Authorities have said his 19-year-old brother, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, ran over him as he fled.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev ran over his already wounded brother as he fled, according to two law enforcement officials who spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the investigation.

After the final blast, a suspect -- later identified as Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26 -- moves directly toward police, firing his weapon, Deveau said. He is tackled by an officer.

The elder brother was shot by police early Friday in a gun battle in Watertown, in which fficials said they wielded improvised explosive devices and homemade grenades. Dzhokhan Tsarnaev was so desperate to escape he ran over his brother as he lay wounded. He later abandoned the car in Watertown and fled on foot, disappearing from sight.

The LE SUV that was allowed to roll, rolled toward BOTH suspects before TT started walking towards LE.

The carjacked SUV rolled over TT after he was tackled by LE and he was on the ground.

Two separate SUV's, two separate times during the firefight.

There is no doubt in my mind that the carjacked SUV driven by the younger terrorist ran over TT.

No doubt in my mind.

Can you please provide your NY Times link?

Ok I've searched and searched and can find nothing in MSM that says DT did not run over TT.
In fact, everything in MSM that I can find says he did.

I'm a stickler for facts.

I think the fact that DT ran over his brother has been well established.

Had been looking for it and then thought the heck with all lthis - read the dealth cert -- will have cause of death and sure enough it said run over a vehicle.

I think they made a HUGE mistake before Miranda and proceeding with interrogation when they did. In court: “Dr, are you telling this court, that your patient, who had been bleeding for 36 hours, had major surgery, has been sedated, has a hole in his neck, some holes in his leg, a tube down his throat, and was in serious condition, has the same .capacity as the same individual expJusteriencing none of the above to participate in a 18 hour interrogation?

Its silly they think now, that is not gonna be big problem. He is an American citizen, he is entitled to same things we are.

All that other stuff --goes against our constitution

I don't think it matters.

The statements before the Miranda Rights can't be used in court anyway.
They were just digging for info to see if anybody else was involved.

They were within the law by not reading them, and they knew they couldn't use the info in court.

There is plenty of evidence against him without those statements IMO.

It wasn't about court. It was about info gathering.
