Listening to his wrestling coach right now. Can't believe this is the same kid he coached. Very likable,friendly,encouraging him to turn himself in.

I agree. I'm wondering when & from whom they got their guns? I think it's apparent they've been planning this for awhile, but for some reason, they didn't formulate an exit strategy - or if they did, maybe they had plans to detonate more bombs, but after the FBI released the footage of them yesterday, they realized it was only a matter of time before they were apprehended.

allegedly shot a campus police officer to death at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, authorities said. The pair then fled in a hijacked SUV only to engage in a firefight with police in the suburb of Watertown. The gun battle left one of the brothers dead. The other escaped and was still on the run.

Needs message out to public. A number of people who went to work before shelter-in-place order given. If you are at work, we do not expect you to shelter in place and stay there, get in cars and drive home. Taxis are running if necessary, or call friends for pick up.

I don't know. He seemed pretty outraged that his brother was killed. And no suicide video has surfaced yet, as far as I'm aware.
 
I think that people who are fascinated with bombs like to use bombs when they can. That doesn't mean they won't also use guns. Even in Mass, a gun is easier to get and reload than a bag full of homemade explosives.

Why couldn't they have purchased them legally?
 
Regarding the question of whether he would kill himself or not...

You know, maybe we haven't seen a sighting of him for almost 8 hours because he is in fact already dead from self inflicted wound?

I mean, the man literally disappeared with 10,000 LE on his damn tail!!!!

WTF? How does that even happen? It makes no sense how he evaded them when they had him...and could he really STILL be on the move after the entire city was shut down?
 
On ABC they are reporting that correspondent Bianna Golodryga, who speaks Russian, contacted the suspects' father in Russia. Father is not able to see coverage and does not believe sons are involved. He has called Bianna three times to get updates because he cannot get any info where he is. He says he has not been contacted by any LE or government officials.

ETA: Father also confirmed that his family has been out of contact with his brother's family in recent years.

You can't make sense of it. You're asking somebody who performed an irrational act to think rationally.
 
New info from the armed robbery: Now saying it is not clear if the 2 were involved with the robbery. Conflicting information.

Asked about the picture? Just learned the picture may not have been from the 7-11.

(UGH, could this get any more confusing???)

I think he is waiting. Waiting until confronted/found. Altho it seems they were desperate last night. Speaking to the car jack,robbery,murder etc. Shocked they have been hanging around so close.

The gov probably already has him and he is on his way to some other country for rendition... Just sayin'
