has the body of the deceased been taken for a service as of yet, how much longer will they hold the body, before they do what ever they do in a case like this. Thank You

Who cares, I hope they put it on a raft and out to the ocean, let the mother wait on the other side for it to show up since she's a terrorist too and can't come get it.

I believe this ifo was given to LE by "friends" of DT.

It was through the Kazakhstani men that investigators learned of the possible whereabouts of Tamerlan Tsarnaev's laptop and authorities have been searching the New Bedford landfill for the past three days, the police sources told ABC News. And, the sources said, agents found a cell phone believed to belong to Tamerlan Tsarnaev's in the New Bedford apartment.

What I can't really picture from this article: so the two Russian "exchange students" (not actually enrolled in school) had the two terrorist brothers over after the bombings. Apparently neither Russian friend knew that they had committed this act of terror - although the brothers were both hanging out in their apartment after the bombings, and DT shared a cell phone with one of the Russian friends.

(already I'm having a hard time imaging the brothers hanging out with these two and not bragging or even hinting they had committed this act??)

And then the two Russian guys also had enough knowledge of TT's computer to suggest that it might have been thrown out, and therefore in the NB landfill? What does that conversation even look like??

TT: yes, well, I'm unemployed, have at least two known apartments and a wife and small child, but I threw out my laptop in a dumpster the other day...for no reason...

???

How did that even come up in conversation with his little brother's college friends?

And then TT left his cell phone there in the Russian friends' apartment? But clearly had another cellphone with him later when he carjacked Danny?

I'm having a hard time keeping track of all the shared electronics. Who shares a cell phone (and WHY?) if you have easy access to other cell phones?

- So TT had a laptop and threw it out before/after the bombing. And the Russian friends knew this information, but supposedly didn't know it had anything to do with the bombing.

- And DT shared a cellphone with one of the Russian guys, but had a different cellphone during bombing.

- And TT had a cellphone that he left at the Russian guys' house, and had a different cellphone during the shootout.

Essentially the Russian guys at some point had both TT's and DT's cell phones in their possession (and DT was seen fiddling with/talking on his cell phone seconds before the bombing). And the Russian guys also had knowledge of TT's computer, and its possible location (in a landfill).

No wonder they are holding these two guys.

In this article they say that it is DT's (younger brother's) laptop they are searching for in the New Bedford landfill.

http://www1.whdh.com/news/articles/...gators-search-landfill-for-suspect-s-lap-top/

This makes a lot more sense, as DT lived in the NB landfill collection area while TT (older brother) lived an hour away.

Even so: what reason would DT have to tell the Russian friends that he threw out his laptop *in the trash*? He didn't sell it, or take it to get fixed, or use it for parts - threw it in the trash, sometime near the bombing.

IIRC It was weeks that LE searched a Utah landfill for Lori Hacking before they found her. I hope that LE has the same success here with the laptop.

Hmmm.... NYTimes seems to hedge their bets:

http://www.nytimes.com/2013/04/26/us/boston-bombing-suspects-laptop-is-sought.html?_r=0

Investigators have been searching for several days for the laptop that they believe belonged to one of the two brothers suspected of setting off bombs at the Boston Marathon last week ..... They believe that the computer may have been thrown out, and they searched the Crapo Hill Landfill in New Bedford, near the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where one brother, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, who was charged in the bombings this week, was a student.

(Crapo Hill, seriously?)

It definitely throws up a red flag, doesn't it?

FBI finishes landfill search near Mass. college

http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/storie...ME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2013-04-27-10-50-19

FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller (EYE'-mihl-er) says the two-day search ended Friday. Eimiller wouldn't say what investigators were looking for or whether they recovered anything from the landfill.

Interesting, would they have ended the 39 acre landfill search after only 2 days, if they didn't find what they were looking for? I don't know the answer. They had a lot of guys in hazmat suits searching out there. But 2 days seems rather fast.

This isn't the kind of landfill where residents take their own trash is it? I would think in that area it would be where garbage contractors or municipal employees take trash from pickups and dumpsters? Either way, I would think they would be able to narrow the search by date, maybe. I know here we take our own trash since there is no collection, but the area filled is rotated. I hope they did find what they were looking for.

The rescuer confirmed on CNN that Jane was Martin's sister. And that he worked on both children.

No one was disputing that Martins sister is Jane. What we were wondering is if the 7 year old still listed in critical condition was in fact Jane (whom I believe is 6), or another 7 year old child.

The operating face of a landfill is a rather small area. And the people that work there can usually tell you exactly where the last couple of weeks trash was dumped and covered.

Do we know that LE/FBI have searched the vehicle with the vanity plate, "Terrorista #1"?

The question is... did he throw out the computer as he claimed or he gave it to someone for keeping. Why would he tell the police what he did with the computer while he knew the evidence in that computer could incriminate him?

I thought the men FBI arrested and are are still holding told about the laptop being thrown away. Was it DT that told FBI this?

Yep, they keep records of what part of the landfill was being used on what day.

And we don't know the context of the conversation if KT did immediately call husband. Was it "WHAT THE H--- ARE YOU DOING ALL OVER THE NEWS???!" or was it "Honey, you're picture is plastered everywhere, you better run!"
I think that my knee-jerk reaction would be to speed dial my husband and demand answers and then I would probably pack up the kids and head to my parents, seeking safety and privacy from EVERYONE until I could make sense of everything. And yes, I would have contacted the FBI while en route.

Interview on CNN yesterday with can't-remember-who said she gave TT a heads up, that it wasn't an incredulous call to ask him what's going on.

Wait... why are they searching for his laptop at the dump and not at his house? Did he throw away his computer right after the bombing? If so, that is VERY suspicious...

They didn't find it at the dorm and then DT and the arrested fellow students said he threw it out. Yes, suspicious!!

Maybe they found the laptop and that is why the search ended so soon?

Both parties told FBI about the laptop.

Re fingerprints:

did someone watch Piers Morgan yesterday? He said: "Let's take a break, come back and get into the detail of the FBI and CIA's fingerprints on this investigation, because it doesn't look very good."

Source: http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1304/26/pmt.01.html

But the topic was then never addressed in the remainder of the program. Was it pulled because not confirmed? I wonder what's going on re fingerprints ...

I try not to watch Piers, but I do think I know what he meant. I believe it was a metaphor for what some see as a mishandling of the case as far as keeping tabs on TT and sharing info with other agencies. I don't believe he was referring to literal fingerprints. JMO
