Who was last seen an hour and a half ago at 116 Tyler? Misty? Haleigh? Does anyone know what the number codes mean in Satsuma, such as signal 8 at 202 green lane?

Also, if you listen to the directions the dispatch lady is giving the officer she says there is a little dirt trail from Tyler to Green. Any locals that can interpret this please.

I don't know if the calls are the same, but I have a signals (dispatch codes) for Hernando

Signals 8J missing Juvenile

If you can catch any of it on the call, let me know and I can look it up for you.

It is clear that a patrol was at 116 tyler around about the time of the 911 call. The call says the child was missing about an hour and a half and the victim was wearing p.j's.

Maybe her brother knows way more than anyone thinks...

Do you remember Belize?

It just seemed to me that RC didn't want anything but for LE to show up and NOW! He told the operator "I was at work, I just got home, my daughter is missing, I need someone here now!" Everything else was irrelevant to him, he had given the operator everything he knew. When she asks "what was she wearing?" he is beside himself at the question as he just told her he was at work. I can hear his frustration.

At a moment like that I would be frustrated with questions like "what's her birthdate?" I mean really what could it matter at that point? The operator was already told she was 5 years old and MC had told her what HaLeigh was wearing. Otherwise, according to the analysis, the conversation should have gone like this:

"911, what is your emergency?"
"My daughter is missing."
"How old is your daughter?"
"She is 5 years old, born August 9th, 2004."
"When did she go missing?"
"I don't know, I was at work."
"What time did you get home from work?"
"3:25 this morning."
"What was she wearing?"
"I don't know, I was at work."
"Where was she taken from?"
"My house."
"Where in the house?"
"I don't know, Lady - I WAS AT WORK!"
"Where was she last seen?"
"I don't know, I WAS AT WORK!" (are you listening at all to me?)
"When is the last time you saw her?"
"Before I WENT TO WORK! Can somebody please come here now?"
"What was she wearing?"
"I don't know, I was at work!" (God, is anyone paying attention here?)

Instead, in a very few words, he told her all she needed to know to send help:
"I just got home from work and my daugher is missing, send someone now!"

Thanks Dot.....did you transcribe the radio transmissions as well? I would really like to read those but can't find them.

Okay I found the version of the radio transcript Dot did down in the RT. Mods I hope it is okay to post here?

I transcribed the police radio transmission. OP=dispatch. MLE=male LE. FLE=female LE. Single digit numbers behind MLE or FLE correspond to the different deputies responding to call. S = Sgt. Blanks are where words were garbled. Numbers beginning with 12 are individual officers’ ID numbers, those beginning with 11 denote rank of Sgt. When OP or anyone else calls out an 11 or 12 number that officer responds with his/her number – usually. Later I may get around to posting the times, if anyone is interested. But, you have to let me know if you are.

Everyone just read knowing this may or may not be an accurate transcription, I have not finished trying to decipher it just yet but if anyone see's an error or something not quite right let me know and I will fix.

If one listens to the tape, it appears that the OP is answering MLE1 when he askes "what's going on at 116 Tyler?" and she responds "verifying the last time she was seen at _____ address."
There is talk over and such.

Of course, one to one and one half hours ago puts us at 2:10 - 2:40am, a time which no one says that they saw HaLeigh. Therefore I think it was an error on the part of the reporting witness. I do not think that anyone at Tyler saw HaLeigh at that time.

Since 1256 was responding to a "call back", that means she, FLE2, was at the scene of Tyler before this portion of the dispatch conversations.

JMHO

Dots, I don't see how you can assume an error. "I do not think that anyone at Tyler saw HaLeigh at that time." ignores what is in fact being reported. Someone is stating she was last seen at that time. The question I ask is "Why is there such a discrepancy??" In my mind, this opens up two possibilities:

1. Someone else was at the MH that night.
2. Misty had HaLeigh at the Tyler street address that night.

The second of these possibilities takes into account what is written on the police report. One of the boxes checked indicates that whatever happened to HaLeigh did not happen in the MH.

I am with you on this one debs, I don't see how we can assume there was an error either because PCSO themselves released this information. Typically I thought when they released little tidbits like this it was to get people talking and thinking about the case again. Maybe trigger a memory or thought that once might have been thought of as nothing and therefore not called in as a tip. However, this whole Tyler street mention in the radio transmissions has me thinking, someone correct me if I am wrong but....was there ALREADY a patrol unit out there on Tyler? That would certainly be a coinky-dink huh? The way I hear the transmission...it sounds like they are stating Haleigh was last seen at Tyler. Course this is all very confusing and I wish someone with knowledge of codes could help. Like what is 77, they are 77. Or 1256. I don't think that means the hour 12:56.

Are you sure it's 77? 10-97 is Arrived At Scene

I am reading this to mean that Haleigh was last seen at 2 to 2:30 that morning.

I think Misty may have looked in on the kids and then went out to go to Tyler street address. And the reference to 1 to 1 & 1/12 hours may be incorrect as well, meaning that is what he was told, no proof it is accurate.

FLE2: She was seen within her residence, about 1 to 1 1/2 hours ago....

lol.....I am not sure of anything. Arrived on scene would make sense though....a little.

No code 77 or Signal 77, so the only thing that would make sense in the context is 97.

one of the RTs had a link to a list of the PCSO radio codes, it was close to where DotsEyes transcription was. Could anyone find that?

I learned today that if you hear a 2220 that means, the first 2 is district, second 2 is shift, and 20 is the officer's call number. That is in Hernando, but It is probably the same for most Counties.

No code 77 or Signal 77, so the only thing that would make sense in the context is 97.

Actually, there is a 10-77... it means situation under control. It is used by Jacksonville, FL sheriff's dept., not listed on all other sites though. I found in my search for call codes, that some of these codes vary from one county to another, and one state to another.

The FBI has gone to great pains to analyze 911 phone calls, after the fact of guilt or innocence has been adjudicated, so that LE and dispatchers alike can be better trained to respond with the appropriate level of attention as quickly as possible. As that research pertains to the elements of these 911 calls, there being more than one because of Ron's hangups, there are multiple red flags that the callers are guilty of something with reference to the calls, all of which I posted some time ago.

None of us has to wonder what we do nor do we need to compare these 911 calls to ones we have made. That's not data, that's just us guessing. The FBI analysis, on the other hand, is based on scientific research with valid and reliable results.

I will have to go back and look at that Viki. I am sure it is interesting. The FBI has researched the 911 calls people make and can tell if something is fishy on the calls?
