Answering my own question. Seems that clickorlando found that in their archives themselves.

Ha ha, all that face time the A's did on the media may now prove useful for the prosecution.

Thanks!! Where oh where can that roll of Henkel tape from the box on the table have gone? And who would have brought such a handy box of useful items with him to the command center? Probably some detail-oriented kind of guy who likes to have the right tools for the right job close at hand...
BBM, IIRC I remember George saying that he ran out of duct tape and had to buy a new roll. Anyone?

Yes, I remember that too. But I *think* he said (at that time) he bought it a year or so ago? Or was it a week?:waitasec: Well, I remember he said it.

:waitasec:I have been thinking about the duct tape and what may of been found. I have not heard anyone mention if there were any of Casey's hairs/eye lashes found within the duct tape. You would think that even if Casey would of used gloves to apply the tape hair or other could of stuck to the tape. Maybe she was crying out of anger and some tears got on the tape. I don't know much about what all would stick after being submerged in water but from what I understood most of what is on the sticky side stays. What if they found other that came from Casey, it didn't just have to be finger prints they were looking for I would assume. Thoughts?

"GA, I think you know a lot about a lot of things."

Thanks for the replies and the link to the new video showing the roll of duct tape at the command center. So we can all assume that the article is incorrect that investigators seized a roll of Henkle duct tape from the Anthony home.:(

JWG...you make my head hurt! lol

Okay, I've been looking at this and here's what I've come up with:

It's all from the same roll (lmao)...seriously though,

The right edge of Q62 was not attached to the left edge of Q63.
The right edge of Q63 was DEFINITELY attached to the left edge of Q64.
The right edge of Q64 was MOST LIKELY attached to the left edge of Q104.
The right edge of Q62 MAY HAVE BEEN attached to the left side of Q66.

I will now inundate you with pictures hoping you can see what I see. On my little handy-dandy screen calipers the read-out between two consecutive Henkel brands in the same location laterally is 260.

*NOTE ON Q104 - if you take into account the creases the measurement over to the first Henkel stamp from the left closely matches what is needed to be torn from the right side of Q64 - reading would be 225.

I am trying to catch up with the recent developments of the duct tape. If I understood correctly it is now being said that the SA feels that the Duct Tape and Gatorade Bottle/ Syringe with Chloroform may of played a big part in Caylee's death. While looking at the pictures you posted I began to wonder if maybe the FBI was able to tell if there were teeth imprints from Caylee on the duct tape. Maybe Caylee was still awake and struggling?:( Could it be possible that after she was given the Chloroform she vomited? If so, would there still be traces of that on the tape and the contents of what she vomited? I know that the remains were under water for some time, but I thought that Duct Tape evidence is hard to destroy due to the stickiness?
I was also thinking about what other evidence could of been on that duct tape that we have not heard about. The SA wants a private hearing with the judge, was it not also said they have some discovery they didn't want to release yet? I know finger prints is the first thing they look for, but what about other types of evidence.
The person who applied the duct tape could of gotten fibers from their clothe on the tape, their hair, eye lashes, sweat, tears, blood from a scratch, gum since the family loves to chomp on that gum, if the person wore gardening gloves from the home would there not be soil and fiber off of those gloves, fibers from a rug in the home, or fibers from the trunk of Casey's car?

At this link it talks a little bit about Adhesive Tapes as Trace Evidence
"Snip" http://www.adhesivesmag.com/Articles/Feature_Article/BNP_GUID_9-5-2006_A_10000000000000223126

The modern criminalist usually decides to specialize in one aspect of evidence examination. The criminalistics section of a typical large forensics laboratory is divided into a number of lesser labs, each with its own specialist(s). These mini-labs cover the following areas of investigation:
DNA
Latent prints
Questioned documents
Hairs and fibers
Illicit drugs, poisons
Firearms, explosives, tool marks
Arson
Trace evidence (coatings, plastics, glass, adhesive tapes)

In some of the news videos it shows CA and GA on their way to the command tent for KFN and GA was had a plastic clear tote with supplies in it. So my guess is GA would pack up the supplies at the end of the day and bring them home. JMO

I hope someone can locate these videos of George carrying the supplies. Perhaps it can be zoomed in and the tape can be seen through the clear tote. Can you believe this guy said he never noticed that his duct tape had the Henkel logo? I just don't believe him -- he touched it too many times to not remember.l That man is meticulous about those sort of things. He remembers.

I don't understand the article by WESH. They say, they have it from sources, that the state believes the murder weapon was in the batch of pictures released yesterday. They go on to say that the murder weapon was the duct tape. There were other items in those photos, like the syringe. Did WESH just make the jump to the duct tape, or am I missing something ?

I realize, that in the hearing Jeff A made it clear that they were leaning on the duct tape as being the murder weapon. I am still unsure how WESH made that leap, unless their sources told them this specifically.

A roll of Henkel duct tape can be seen in this video of George at the command center.

The news anchor mentioned that this video had never been released for airtime before. This makes me wonder how much more footage is sitting around the media outlets.
We know WFTV has searched their archives but I think it's time for WESH, News 13, Fox Orlando and the Sentinel to meticulously comb through all of their video for more Henkel footage.

bbm: Thank you Magnlaw! Thank you for slipping in something that made me laugh out loud! I so needed it after looking at the awful photos of the duct tape.

Not to worry, we have a year or two before this goes to trial, by then every video even remotely associated will have been handed over to the prosecution. That is my guess.

Funny you should mention that because lately I have been not only worrying, but having dreams (nightmares) about this case.
The last one depicted an acquitted Casey strutting out of the court room flipping the bird to one and all. :banghead:

How can duct tape be "rare"? and what is Gaff taipe?

Gaffer tape is the English term for duct tape, because it is used a lot by electricians.

Not only the news stations, but Nancy Grace, Greta, Geraldo -- any show that has shown footage from this case. Someone earlier mentioned the clear totes that the Anthony's took with them to the command centers. Look at this from a Nancy Grace episode. You can see them several times. If the banners at the bottom of the screen could be removed, someone might be able to zoom in and see if the duct tape is there. Look at 4:10 where Cindy opens the smaller tote.

Hope this works. Took this utube from THEWORLDACCORDING post on the Casey is indigent thread. Thanks TWA!

Electrical tape, usually black, is different than duct tape. Electrical tape is what electricians use.

This particular duct tape is rare. It is an industrial type and not sold in many stores. If you read through this thread from the beginning you will see the odds of anyone having this tape in their home.
It's manufacture had also ended so that made it even more rare.
