That's the place. I've seen it mentioned a few times in comments.not sure what to make of it,but when I saw on a true crime show that an informant talked of a mechanic and it was linked to the dolls I have always wondered. But again theres that echo chamber.

Hacket calling SG's mom was a huge risk for him and he realized how stupid it was after the fact. We know this because he lied about making the call.
He might just be out of his mind but it also might of been a major fishing expedition to see if SG was still alive and if she was squawking about him. I think this guy is wacky but he's not completely stupid. If she did run away and went back home and pointed a finger at Hacket, he already established a story against it, he was treating her for drugs. "She can't be trusted", he'll say.
Is it a fact that Hacket is Magic from CCC or is that just rumor?

There was a story of police searching in JC for her and when they found a garbage bag in a drain or something they thought it might be her. I spent a while last year trying to match Al G to Feingold and felt like I was getting close- but a lot of the cached image collections from Al G's parties are no longer turning up in google etc. searches. Of course "getting close" doesn't really mean all that much because in any subculture (even a place as big as NYC) there's always going to be one degree of separation. I've even had people I know and/or friends of friends show up in some of these discussions and I'm not from LI and not involved in the adult/sex industry. So any connections may or may not be important : / Doesn't mean it's not worthwhile to keep digging though.

Trying to find a link simply due to a nagging question......
why did Maureen contact this Al telling him she had been robbed.
Why was it any business to him....that she would call him about it in the first place......like who was he to her....for her to be calling him.
I noticed he has an address one block from the last place she was seen....one block from the motel she worked from.
I dont have Kolkers book....I have read it....but need a refresher from someone who has it..... Wasnt this Al someone she mentioned wanting to get to know better...because he worked in *advertiser censored*...and she saw this as a more legit business....
I thought she didnt know him that well....... why is he someone she contacted prior to her dissaperance? ..... and to tell him she had been robbed? .... my suspicious mind may make me think she owed him money.... maybe thats why he called Sarah? Asking if Sarah had heard from her?
whats this guys deal......why is he involved with Maureen...visa versa...if she was independant...and this was an out of the blue return simply to get funds to cover her eviction costs.....somethings fishy!!!
I also have lent my copy of the book out (to a friend who still works in The Film Center Building - where Al G and Aaronas NY operated and Maureen visited- I worked that building as well when they were there but don't recall their office. I wasn't on the same floor). As far as I remember, Maureen (via her friend who was interviewed in the book) had started hanging around Al G and associates in hope that Al G could cast her as "talent" in pr0n so she could move on from prostitution to something more stable and legit. I believe she met him through the Aaronas IT dude who was posting ads for her- they shared office space in the building if I recall. Again, my memory is shaky. I was at a small gathering that the author was at not terribly long ago but it wasn't the right time for me to grill him about the book and what his feelings were regarding different POI (he was with his family and the type of event was so not the place to bring up LISK).

Sorry- he's someone who is connected to Al G -at least socially. Has an office in the general area of Penn station. Not saying he's a POI, just another person with some deep connections to the "business" who runs in the same circles as Al G et al. He's interesting to me just because I'm trying to get a feel for who Maureen and possibly the other women who worked out of that area might come into contact with as part of that scene.
