I am so glad I missed seeing those photos when they were temporarily available that day. I remember being sorry I missed them. Now, I am so glad I did. After your description of the throat wound, that is a picture I would never get out of my head.

Trust me.......you are far better off not seeing them...ever. They were nothing like the ones on HP.

I wish I had never viewed them myself. It is incomprehensible what one evil person can do to another human being and for the reason she did this to Travis.:(

She destroyed him in life and in death. His family had a closed casket, iirc.

imo

I watched a video of DT's so called expert. Frankly I wasnt impressed but it was ironic that she did talk about stalkers and how DV victims out of fear dont call poilce when they are being stalked or abused. Sounds just like Travis Alexander to me.

They can say what they want to say but DA Martinez is known to be an ace when cross examining witnesses and I think he is going to have a field day with this particular expert. Jodi Arias fits the profile of an abuser. Travis Alexander fits the profile of a victim of domestic violence by an ex who would not take no for an answer.

And I think JM will get that out to the jury loud and clear.

Even Dr. Drew who usually will make an excuse for criminal behavior says JA pathology is that of an abuser and its all about ownership.

IMO

Who is their expert? TIA.

Do you have a source for this info?

I saw another thread where it was implied JA was shacked up with some guy @ the time she met TA. Is that true? Source?

Thanks!

She met Travis at a PPL convention in Las Vegas and broke up with her live in boyfriend (of four years) four days later.

One of TA's roommates and Mimi discovered the body in the bathroom I believe. Normal procedure would be to check his shoes if they found a print to eliminate both of them from leaving the print accidentially. jmo

Mimi waited outside. She did not go in when where they found his body.

Who is their expert? TIA.

Dang I knew I would get asked that question. I even put up a link to her website and now my mind went blank on her name.:waitasec: Her first name starts with an A I think.

Help please others read it too.:floorlaugh:

ok there were 4 minutes between the last photo of him in the shower unharmed and him dead and crammed into the shower.

  • so I am looking at it this way,
-pulse your hand as hard as you can in a stabbing motion 29 times- it will probably take you approximately 30 seconds give or take a few. We also know that there was some kind of struggle where he had his hands up to defend himself so not every blow would be landed.

-Now imagine a wet limp body, how long would that take to drag down a hallway?, speed it up some if we assume the floor is wet and that she is in decent shape? Consider also that she had to position him to be able to drag him whether that was on a towel or getting a good grip to drag with,

-Then she has to find a way to push him in,

-there may have even been a weapon that had to be fished out of a backpack during this point but maybe not.

    - She may have waited a few moments to watch him die and it did not happen

All of this occurred in 4 minutes. To me that is a very very short time. I do not think that it was self defense but I think the defense would make a good case for panic. I think she probably panicked when he didn't die quickly like she thought and that's where all the other things came from.

She didn't want to be told on if she left and he somehow survived
and she did not want to actually have to fight him so she goes for quick kill spots.

  • That's premeditated murder.

It didn't take me but 6 seconds to drag my husband across a tile floor, and that was with no slippery blood or water.

IMO it was all rage after the first mortal wound didn't incapacitate him and he tried to defend himself and get away, I think it went fast and furious.

I think she took some time to simply catch her breath after the throat slit.

Dang inquiring minds :slap:. Don't feel like you have to go looking for it, it will come out when the DT puts their case forward. :seeya:

  • What pic of him stuffed in the shower? ?

  • IMO, the State has put in overwhelming amounts of evidence that proves premeditation.

I dont think Travis even knew this wench was coming. It was like so many times before when she showed up unannounced even sneaking in and sleeping on his couch or watching him and a girlfriend fall asleep in a bean chair. She is one absolutely freaky creepster. imo.

She stoled her grandparent's .25 caliber weapon when other valuable guns were left behind.
She went 90 miles from her home to rent a car.
She was a blonde when she rented the car.
She lied to the manager at the rental place and said she was going to just use the car around town. She did not want the red car he offered. IMO it would stand out too much.
She dyes her hair (Admits that Travis' neighbors knew her as a BLONDE)
The knife and the gun is taken from the scene never to be found.
    Her clothing is also missing.
She puts the car tag on upside down because it cant be easily read that way.

She is guilty as hell of premediated murder.

She wasnt panicked whatsoever. She took the time to clean up. She took the time to manually deleted the photos before she knew she had to get out of there because she knew one of his roommates would be coming home from work around 6.

    IMO

I can't remember exactly where I saw this so for now I will say imo ....but I believe when the roommate walked in the room and noticed all the blood he walked though the walk-in closet and saw Travis in the shower. (Closet had a door in master bedroom and another door in bathroom ) He never walked through the bloody hallway .

Thanks. That explains it. Someone else replied the same thing, so thanks to all.

With all the circumstantial evidence, it is pretty obvious she did it, but that whole "shadow of a doubt" thing has me worried.

The defense admitting to it in opening statements was huge. Hopefully, PA will remind the jury of that in closing. Wish he could hammer that point home throughout the witness testimonies too though. It seemed to have gotten lost with some of the jury.

Actually it within a "reasonable doubt" not a "shadow of a doubt" situation. I spoke the "shadow of a doubt" phrase while being questioned as a potential juror on a death penalty trial and was corrected by the defense attorney present. I hate to wait this long time before we get to see where the defense is going to go. Leaves way too much time for juror misbehavior IMO.

I knew a nice poster would help me out and sure enough BritsKate came to the rescue. Yippee!

Yep, did a load of laundry, even checked his voicemail, called the guy she used as an alibi and dry humped...and lied some more.

I'm with washing him off. Washing her Dna off of him

Yes, and her hair color change choice may have been, at least in part, due to the fact that long dark hairs are much easier to find to dispose of rather than blonde hairs. (I know, I'm a blonde with long hair. Single hairs can be almost transparent.)

I'm also entertaining the thought that she was trying to disguise herself, perhaps to resemble Travis's friend, Mimi.

good question: why did she put him in the shower if she thought the shower photos were erased forever.. never to be seen again. (esp with the blood evidence in the hall etc)

To wash off trace DNA from his body??

And, my stupid comment about it being a flashlight, was because I'd only seen part of the photo. :blushing:

I don't think there is any such thing as a stupid comment. We all learn from each others knowledge and insights. That's what makes this such an awesome community!!! :grouphug:
