Good Samaritans recognized the Caravan and the plate number, found the car in the woods in Adairville and disabled the car, which led authorities to the general area they were in, and eventually found both Faith and Kevin Pitt.

ADAIRVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) - According to the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office, Faith Threet has been found safe and Kevin Pitt is in custody.

Pitt is in the Logan County Jail on a $250,000 cash bond.

Investigators are working with the District Attorney’s Office regarding charges.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Robertson County Emergency Management, and Logan County Sheriff’s Office all assisted through the process.

I am so delighted to read she has been found safe, and he will be held responsible for his crimes. I can only imagine the deep breathe and tears shared by family and friends.

I just want to make one thing clear about KP - a big reason what happened was because his sex crimes related case was not completed and he was only rearrested for violation of bond in September. He was NOT required to register as a sex offender yet even though his record made it crystal clear he was going to offend again and didn’t give a s#!t about following any conditions of his bond or any other law, for that matter. We’ve gotta do something to address this gap in monitoring and regulating violent offenders who target children because what happened to Faith was completely unacceptable.

This is why sex offenders should not be at large in public. Time and time again sex offenders are released into the wild - or not locked up in the first place - and they go on to victimise or even kill again and again.

Pitt has been extradited to Tennessee and is being held on a hell of a lot of bond for his two warrants he failed to appear on. Multiple other charges including federal kidnapping charges are coming soon.

KDP has two more charges that were just added for an offense on 11/29, but no news of what those are. These two charges add $20k to his bond, so he is currently being held on $302,500 bond.

Additionally, I've attached the charges he was arrested on after the AMBER Alert (smaller file) and the charges he was released on bond for (larger file). ***TRIGGER WARNING: CSA. The larger file's charges are extremely disturbing.***
