Humm.. Maybe they want his face out there too.

I thought yesterday when I saw the mom she knows who did this and is very afraid but cant believe it sorta. Like in her head she is saying no -but she knows ya know?

And the dad's comments make you wonder too:

Bobo's father, Dana Bobo, said at the Thursday news conference that he thought the kidnapper was someone close to his daughter because the person had to know her routine.

Didnt it say the lunchbox was found beside a creek? Where does the creek path run? If it runs close to the home, and the current is consistent with the direction the lunchbox would have traveled if tossed in, I would think its very plausible that the lunchbox could have been chucked into the creek and current carried it several miles. We've had heavy rains this past week....water flow and height would have worked to carry it quickly.

facebook page says search teams were told do NOT tell media if you find something

Sheriff Wyatt sounds like he is breaking down emotionally. Poor guy. He has a lot on his shoulders.
I'm questioning why he is so open with the media about their investigation.....about not having 'any idea' what happened, who's involved, or why.
I realize that they don't have any clue....but should he be saying that to the media?
Then later, he says that all of the other agencies are out there because he has no clue what they are dealing with and they are just trying to cover all of their bases.

I just feel like the kidnapper shouldn't know any of that. MOO.

Maybe they DO have a clue but are just saying they don't because TBI or some other "higher up" agency told them to say this. I've heard of many agencies in the past on news conferences say that they "don't know." It could be a technique. Besides, it doesn't really matter if he has a clue or not if other agencies are able to run the show. I'm sure this is a difficult case for the sheriff because I doubt that he's ever dealt with it before. The first time a small agency gets something like this is a wake up call to how easy they've had it in the past.

This video says that Holly was home studying for an exam, not that she was on her way to school. However, if they found her lunchbox, I would have to speculate that it was because she was on her way to school.

So much conflicting information!

Take it for what it is worth, but the locals on the FB page are saying that the news agencies that are further away from TN are reporting erroneous info.

the nursing student's boyfriend is an avid turkey hunter, and is frequently seen wearing camouflage clothing.

May or may not mean anything. I live in a big city and often see men of all ages (and women) dressed head to toe in camo. If I go to the next little town over that is more rural, you see it there too. Lots of poor people wear camo too as they can get it cheap from charities, surplus, etc. A lot of the homeless wear it.

I think that I might be able to answer why this was originally called a "home invasion" and how it has grown from there. I was a 911 dispatcher for 10 years and if they are using CAD, which almost every agency does nowadays (even small agencies), when a call comes in, it MUST be given a title. The dispatcher was given whatever information she was given and he/she had a few choices as to what she "named" the call to get it started and to dispatch it. Home invasion is one choice as is suspicious person, etc. The rumor of the home invasion could have been as innocent as the call being started that way and the media picking it up. That's how rumors start. I would bet a dollar that this is why it has been called a home invasion and now has gone out of control.

You've got to love technology - news anchor is with the searchers and tweeting every couple of minutes. Says there are about 100 people. They are arm's length apart searching.

They are now searching a 20 mile area near Bible Hill Baptist Church in Parsons. I have added it to the map.

Does anyone know where the lunchbox was found?

Does anyone closer to the search know precisely where the lunchbox was found? Close enough to map it? It would be useful to get an idea if the location is close enough to a road to have been tossed out or if it may have simply washed downstream or if it was dropped after two people had already traveled 8 miles on foot.

VERY VERY interesting. I won't post from it, but it's something worth reading. MOO
This is an allowed link and information may be discussed. The author freely admits that what she is posting is RUMOR. It has to be discussed as such and NOT presented as fact.

I think that this link above will answer a lot more questions for everyone speculating.

The church is only a little less than 2.5 miles as the crow flies form the Bobo residence.
