And being that AM is codependent, I am wondering on this thread and Linda Reed's thread if he abducted her. Since his mother is in prison, who is going to scrape his Mcd's burger and all his oddities done for him that his mother did. Linda Reed is 65 same age as his mother. Maybe he panicked thinking that he would not have his mother around to help him with the kids and kidnapped Linda. Guntown is not far from where Linda was abducted.

Guntown (where AM was living) is near Tupelo (Northeast MS). Gallman/Crystal Springs (where Linda Reed was living) is below Jackson (Southwest MS). I wouldn't call these near each other. It would be about 4 hrs 1 way; 8 hrs round trip.

Linda Reed was last seen on April 29th. Was AM interviewed by LE on the 29th? Looking for that date. AM was seen on surveillance in Guntown on April 30 and reportedly last seen on May 1.

On Tuesday, the TBI released surveillance video showing Adam Mayes in a Guntown convenience store on April 30. He was last seen in the area on May 1.

If we had time/date AM was interviewed and time of the surveillance we would know whether AM had time to make an 8 hour trip.

Not that this makes him any less guilty, but it sounds to me like he falls somewhere on the autism spectrum. There are certain types of behaviors that manifest themselves in people with autism, one of which has to do with touch and texture. The comment about not liking the feeling of water touching his skin made me think that he might be autistic.

Of course, I'm not saying that all people with autism are kidnappers and murderers; nor am I saying that he committed this crime BECAUSE he is autistic. It's just something that caught my attention. His family sounds like it was very dysfunctional, and these behaviors could have also been the result of a dysfunctional home life.

This is one of those things that has grown legs due to bad reporting IMO.

In earlier articles they referred to where he lived as being near Guntown. But he actually lived in Union County. This are very close.

Then in an article it stated he rented a trailer and for several pages in the thread everyone thought he rented a trailer to transport the bodies.

This was actually a misunderstanding of the rented trailer he lived in. A media article helped to start the misinterpretation.

Thank you. IIRC, the parents rented a double-wide mobile home (trailer), and behind it or beside it on the same property was a blue single-wide mobile home (trailer).

WMC reporting that hwy 9 is closed down--showed footage of woods directly next to (looked like it was just to the right of the trailer house) where a lined up group of LE walked into the woods to search. Reporter said looked like about 40 officers. No word of sighting of AM, but not sure why the search of the woods now. Happening now.

They DID release a car description...white Oldsmobile Alero...blue license plate "OLE MISS" and said he may be in it ("driving it" was revised). That vehicle is from the surveillance video sighting on 4/30.

Okay folks, let's keep in mind the source for all this latest "character" information for Adam. Every bit of it is coming from Teresa Mayes's family (her mother and her sister).

IF this guy was truly this odd on the outside (meaning that it is painfully obvious) I don't think that Joann is the type to let him hang around day and night. Don't forget that it was stated early on that Adam "babysat" the girls frequently.

I take everything Teresa's family has to say with a grain of salt. They are only getting her defense ready. And, this whole "mental retardation" thing doesn't sit right with me either. If Teresa started to wildy text and Facebook after the murders, she clearly knew she had done something wrong and was looking for advice!Now, the man who came forward and said that Adam was trying to buy Viagra. I think this story is credible. This witness has no stake in the matter.

I have read some of the posts she's made on her FB page. She doesn't seem very educated, and might be slightly dyslexic; however, she definitely doesn't appear to be even mildly retarded. I'm an English teacher, and I'm working on a doctorate in ESL education, and I love to analyze people's writing styles. I wanted to see her posts, especially because her mother started saying that she was mildly retarded. She understands the basic structures of English and she is able to communicate like anybody else.

I'm just wondering what exactly AM was up to while the family was living in Arizona...what was it about this time that they were in Tennessee that set this situation off? Did he go out there to visit/stay too? I mean it sounds like they all were separated at some point, and how did he deal with that then?

I also was wondering this, then I had a OMG thought what if he did something to JB's father do we know how he died? That brought the family back for almost a year correct then time to move again all he-- breaks lose.

Okay. I have worked on revising the timeline and other case information. But I need some help. Here are some questions that I have currently. 1. Can someone show me the source again with the date that Adam was interviewed by police the first time? Was it April 29?
2. Can someone verify that Teresa contacted Bobbi on Saturday, April 28 and that Bobbi contacted police the same day?
3. Does anyone know the date of the divorce between Gary Bain and Pamela Mayes?
4. Does anyone know the date of divorce between Adam and Teresa Mayes?
5. Can someone point to a reliable source with information on when the Bain family oved to Arizona (2009?) and when they returned to Tennessee (December 2011?)?
6. If anyone can provide actual dates of marriage and birth for various people, that might be of interest to some.
7. The thing that I find most confusing is that the date I currently have for when Bobbi Booth contacted the police to report that Adam had buried some people is April 28. Yet I also have that police interviewed Adam and released him on April 29. I can’t imagine that they would let him go if they thought he had buried someone in his yard. So I’m guessing that one of those dates is wrong.

I'm going to run through the media coverage now to attempt to answer a few of these. Within the hour, I will post the updated timeline and other info. I don't really know much about mapping.

Thank you. Honestly, I believe this information coming from TM's sister and mother cannot automatically be accepted as fact. The fact is, TM is charged with kidnapping and murder. Her mom & sister seem to want to excuse TM by blaming the whole thing on AM's "abuse" of TM and the notion that TM is "slow" or "retarded". I suppose it's natural to want to find excuses for your daughter/sister's actions - especially for a death penalty offense - so, IMO, anything mom/sis says is an attempt to find a defense for TM.
