Authorities suspect foul play in Swift's disappearance.

BBM

This has changed in just one day!

Swift's father Gary Johnson, 67, told ABCNews.com that the family is "worried to death" and that Swift's four children—two boys and two girls—are devastated.

Johnson described his daughter as a talented landscaper with a devoted group of customers in her hometown of Walnut Ridge, Ark., where her parents live. Swift was scheduled to go to Arkansas today to do some landscaping.

and her husband has been interviewed by police and is not considered a suspect.

At least not yet... :sigh:

I guess I'm jaded from other cases because I don't believe that's what happened. MOO

me either...although not from TN, this case has some interesting common facts with the Jacque Rawson Waller case.

I still have an open mind. Not much being talked about in our area. LE is being tight lipped as they should be. I think we are gonna be dealing with different media reports as I have seen some already, lol. Sure hope she is found safe and soon. By different media reports it seems they each have different information and it really hacks me off they can't even get the community name correct...it is Millsfield and is very rural. Altho I don't live out there I am familiar with the area somewhat but there are lots of country roads out there. I did read the LE have taken some "molds" (?) of some tire tracks around her vehicle.

ETA: The channel 3 news info that was posted up above also said her cell phone was last used at 5AM that morning and used to connect to the internet. Don't know how true this is as I originally heard there were pings in another area. Just don't know right now and I don't guess anyone here does.

Maybe looking up maps? Just a guess... (I'm thinking the perp was using the phone and looking for a place to put her... :()

Where her vehicle was last seen, on Millsfield Highway near Harness Rd.

This is very close to their house on Willie Johnson Rd.....easy walking distance by the looks of it.

Is that confirmed, or a guess? I wouldn't think that would be too wise, as that info can probably be traced?

Sorry - that's just a guess, clu! I'll go back and clarify in my post.

But, has her phone been found? It would make more sense doing a search on her phone than doing it on the perp's phone in case the perp didn't want to take their own phone (b/c of pings, etc). Make sense?

I'm not so sure that she was the one in the car when it got the flat. If she could walk home from that short a distance, so could someone else. One possible scenario is that she left the house with someone who later had a flat on the way back with the car.

And it doesn't make sense to me that she'd get up before daybreak to go somewhere on her own when she'd only been home a short time. I think it was the KFVS article that said a neighbor saw the car on the side of the road around 5 am or so in the morning? I suppose she could have gone out to get medicine or something for the sick daughter.

This story got a very brief mention on ABC's overnight news last night.

The fact LE says the husband is not a suspect means nothing to me. They often say that. Most mothers do not just take off on their kids (some do though, so I you just never know). From the outside, this doesn't look good.

this is confusing..

Sheriff Box says they know Swift was at a party Saturday night, but left early to get her sick daughter.

Sheriff Box says they are told Swift and her daughter went to bed together, but the little girl woke up in another room and no one has seen mom since.

was 0130 am "early"? Was she picking up the kids from Dad's house? He was the last to see her right? And now we have that she went to bed with sick daughter and the daughter ends up in another room with mom gone???

I am confused!

Swift, a 44-year-old mother of four was last seen early Sunday morning by her husband at their home on Willie Johnson Road after she reportedly returned from a Halloween party. Her white 2004 Nissan Murano was later found on Millsfield Highway near the intersection of Harness Road with a flat tire.

so, who was watching the kids during the party? it seems they both still live in the same home?
