Why stop there? Maybe we can get Keifer Sutherland from CTU to solve this one for us.

Just fyi... Bauer no longer answers to CTU.

All silliness aside... I believe LE will eventually catch up to TC and ET will have a chance at a normal life. Sadly, I think it's JillC who will need the most support and encouragement. My heart genuinely aches for her - and her kids and grands.

So if you book a room in a more affordable place they make you gamble? Or is that a choice? I mean someone can book a room and not gamble, right? Reason I ask is I've heard from people so much that lodging in those hotels isn't expensive and they usually have an all you can eat buffet that's very reasonable so it's a cheap area to stay, as long as you stay away from the gambling.

No you don't have to gamble at all. I'm thinking more in terms of right on the strip. My mom used to go and the nicer hotels comped her room in return for her gambling. She actually did pretty well! :)

I am new here also. Your question makes me ponder, perhaps my tendency to respond directly to whomever is asking could feed others’ propensity to ask for more? I am tempted to ask some of those who responded to you for clarification as some innuendoes appear to be untoward. I am afraid to ask but I am not offended or bitter.
I take nothing from this virtual interaction personal. Just foods for thought. What matters most is if we were collectively smarter than the *******, Tad Cummins that is!
Perhaps it's just a matter of time and us getting used to your style and vice versa?

Yes, we have the same ultimate goal :)

I just want this teen home with her dad and siblings, chilling in her footie pajamas, eating her favorite dinner and watching a movie far from Mr Cummins. I think we'd all like that.

Has anyone mentioned what is Mr. Tad Cummins main hobby? Where did he grew up as a 15 to 25 year old man? Has he played football? Does he have long-term family friends? Does he have siblings and where do his siblings (if applicable) live? Are his parents still alive, and if his parents were dead where are they buried?

Some WS members said that they are not afar from where Tad Cummins’ soon to be ex-wife lives. May be they could learn his habits from the community. To know Tad Cummins habits is to know where he could replicate his way of life and at which similar place he could be hiding. This may be half sarcastical but it should not surprise if Mr. Tad Cummins were someday captured in a Walmart store!

I read he plays conga drums and was in a church band some years back. He claims to be a singer...that has been debated. ;) He also claims to have written many songs, but I've yet to find any. He also claimed to have a Black Belt in martial arts and made a website for that. I suspect he wanted to teach that as well at some point but it doesn't seem to have gone anywhere. It may have been like the FBI/CIA claims, not sure. We are a martial arts family and he doesn't seem the type IMO.

YES. you can find rooms in vegas for 25. a night.... I just booked 4 nights in June for 36. a night ... and you can eat very cheap if you want. And these are not 'dumps'. They want your money...thinking you will gamble more.
Vegas is desert. June = frickin hot; not 100% sure but likely that June is going to be a cheaper time of year. How many of those days are weekdays? I live in an adjacent state and have never found a new side of strip hotel for that. Plus a lot have $20 a day resort fees. Excalibur, Rio seem cheapest when I've looked recently. My husband had a Vegas trip a couple of weeks ago; he booked a groupon for a room over $200/nt for Thurs and Fri... When I questioned that, he said it was a popular weekend and the rate wasn't that high compared to other hotels. Definitely no $30 rooms to be found then on the new side of the strip. I have also not found this mysterious cheap eating others speak of... Would love to know which casinos are cheap. I find it more economical to go to Trader Joe's, Walmart, or a fast food off the strip, but we always have a car.

Warning: JMO, IMO etc. not a verified lead etc.

1 --- Twice captured on Walmart camera (in TN and in OK) Tad Cummins will walk into a Walmart again soon. Have Walmart review their cameras daily.
2 --- Keep looking for the Nissan rogue … to eliminate it as a continuing getaway.
3 --- What other vehicle (besides the rogue) could Tad Cummins use? Suppose he started his preparation to abscond in January 23. Unbeknown of his wife and acquaintances, he has had another vehicle somewhere. The Nissan was just to get to that other vehicle and the Nissan is now idle in a garage.
4 --- After 3 weeks, it makes sense to make the search nationwide. Tad Cummins should be put in the FBI’s most wanted list and other national databases.
5 --- Every human needs transportation, food and drinking water, and home. Keep watch on public transportation (such as busses and train), any grocery store, and isolated vacation homes such as near seashore or lake. I was wrong when I guessed he went to the outer islands on NC, SC, and GA. If he thinks of running for the long haul, he did not head north. Thus, he is moving west, south west, or may be back south east (if he is clever).
6 --- Put a surveillance on Tad Cummins and Elizabeth Thomas’ relatives, friends, and acquaintance. I have said it before and I repeat now. They were, are and will be getting help from a misguided third person.
7 --- Humans are creatures of habits. The longer Tad Cummins is on the run, the more he will want (1) to do what he has done before (what is his main hobby), (2) to go where he has been before (where did he grew up as a 15 to 25 year old man?), and (3) to seek help from those who helped him before (are his parents still alive? Where do his siblings live?)
8 --- I am not surprised Elizabeth Thomas is bedizened with Tad Cummins’ oversized flannel shirt. It tells of their interaction. Don’t be shocked if I view it as a good news. It shows that he cares (in his way) and she is safe (relatively). We should not be locked in one set of picture images. They could alter their appearance many times.

In conclusion, not to offend the LE but I am still surprised that the OKC Walmart pictures were dated 3/15 and investigated only many days later. Much water has passed under the bridge by then. If the LE continues to act like that, there no limit to what the LE cannot do.

On point 6: I agree. The friend who dropped her off knows something. I suspect (MOO) that it was her FINALLY telling LE what ET had told her that led them to the OK Walmart video.

I have only been there once as an adult when I got married there fall of 2015. We stayed in a room which, to my poor booty, was very nice. I've never stayed anywhere more nice but, again, I'm a poor person (financially...I'm rich in other less tangible stuff). We did spend a chunk, but nothing insane. It was about the same price as the nicest hotel in my mid-sized, not at all glamorous northwestern US city, but with super sweet amenities like an in-room dishwasher and more televisions than actual rooms, and a mini bar I couldn't even pretend to eat from as it had weight sensors (I sound like such a hick right now) and a crazy bathroom...

Anyway. We weren't literally forced or obligated to drink or gamble or eat or do anything else at our hotel. Plus there was a freaking McDonald's and panda express inside the hotel!!! The grossest McDonald's in the US, but there nonetheless. I was surprised overall at how little we actually spent for what we did and where. I think they could be hidden there EXCEPT for the fact that nothing is hidden in Vegas... You're always on camera (uh oh I just thought that through in relation to me... surely all that footage is gone by now... ;) )

Honestly I keep thinking about Hannah Anderson being found out in the middle of nowhere, Idaho. I'm keeping my eye out in my neck of the woods!

My husband and I have a timeshare in Vegas...for a while the Strip was trying to advertise itself as "family friendly" but I think they gave up on that, we rarely see many kids there and even teenagers would be scrutinized by security to make sure they're 18. Between security and cameras, I think TC would be foolish to attempt it, but who knows what he's thinking? They could be just about anywhere by now.

Reminder: Inboxes get full quickly, make sure you empty them so people can answer you..

No, they don't "make" you gamble, but you have to walk through the casino to get to the elevators to go to your room, LOL. And there are slot machines on the wall that leads to the buffet line. When I was there, you got a $2 roll of quarters for eating at the casino's restaurant. I should have mentioned that there are family-friendly things to do in Las Vegas - amusement park rides, Circus Circus; the Mirage has dolphins and white tigers.

It's killing me that there are two young teen girls missing....with two 50-something self-centered *advertiser censored**holes (pardon my language!)...who are only thinking about themselves. Between this case and the Makayla Chang case I think I might lose it with these losers!!!

For those interested, here is the link to Makayla's thread. She is getting much less attention because there was no Amber Alert.

Regarding Elizabeth's case, I have this feeling that they are headed to the west coast....California. I think TC has convinced ET that he will take care of her, love her and they will live this incredible, but simple, life. Unfortunately, that obviously won't happen. I hope they are found before anything terrible happens.

Thinking of you Elizabeth!

I think they may be here in California, too; if not, I think they are in coastal Texas. There are a lot of beach parks along the CA coast with showers. We are having some really nice weather right now, too, although the coast cools off at night and may get some fog, depending on where you are.

I can't get past the fact that he left his daughters and grandchildren. He's basically showing them that they aren't important to him.

I'm pretty new to the WS community but was just wondering is it common for people to "pick" at others for their wording or phrases? I don't mean for this to seem rude but I love everything else about this platform and I'm excited to be a part of the community but seeing this makes me apprehensive to type anything. Just wanted to see if this was common or what?

Yes, I have been ridiculed for my opinion on things, even the news source I used for a link once. But you are expected to deal with it.

He's certainly not acting like a mature adult. I feel terrible for his family.

What do we know...He's a Jeep guy, according to his social media. That's maybe what makes me lean towards camping as some mentioned but I initially disagreed with. Jeep life = exploring the unbeaten trail, adventure..I can see him using that as a way to appeal to a teenage girl.

O/T my husband is all about that Jeep life and a self proclaimed survivalist. When I go on "adventures" with him I bring a coushined mat (from walmart!) And by the full day 2 I've been known to have him drive me into the nearest town for a cheeseburger and a margarita. It's not for everyone ha

He's a wannabe survivalist, means he'll be looking to supplement with the occasional soft warm bed.

Hmm...there are apparently a number of motels that offer rooms for cash without id. Did a search on the net and they do exist. They're not chains, but they are clean. Some require a $500 deposit that is returned when you check out.

you can find cheap lodging and food yes, but getting ET in a casino would be a tad suspect me thinks.

There is so much to do OUTSIDE of casinos, you never need to step foot in one. Its family friendly. They would NOT seem out of place there..... unfortunately.
