Deputies from the Siskiyou County Sheriff's Office acted on the tip and located a Nissan Rogue that had also been part of the nationwide Amber Alert. Deputies put it under surveillance for several hours before rescuing Elizabeth Thursday morning.

Tad Cummins is now facing a federal sex charge after being arrested early Thursday in California and the 15-year-old girl that he kidnapped was recovered.


Interim U.S. Attorney Jack Smith said during a TBI briefing on the case that Cummins has been officially charged by his office with one count of interstate transportation of a minor for the purpose of sexual intercourse.

TC was booked into the same Siskiyou County jail that Jodi Arias was in. For a small jail it has certainly housed some infamous criminals.

Ya know, it could have possibly been a member of this community that turned El Sicko in and made it possible for our girl to get home alive. One of the rules say they may stay up to a week initially, they have meeting circles weekly to hash anything out. Maybe the weekly meeting rolled around and someone spoke up..and you want to send in the calvary?

Huh? What are you taking about, lol! I was simply suggesting this could be the type of place creeps like TC could go to, expecting not to be asked questions. II definitely think LE should be aware of these places. IF she was found there (which frankly, seems like bad reporting at this point) they certainly need to make sure no one else like TC is there.
