The prosecutor of this case needs passion, not compassion. Added to TC's friends list for sure. She sounds like a person who might even have helped him to me. With that attitude, you have to wonder how much effort was put into pursuing him.

Health sciences teacher Tad Cummins surrendered to sheriff's deputies without incident in Cecilville, California, hours after they had set up surveillance on his vehicle in the area, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said. The girl was apparently healthy and unharmed, and authorities said their main concern was her emotional and mental state.

I feel the same. I really hoped he thought he WAS protecting her in some way from the abuse she had suffered and was not going to take it where he did. That it was just a 'fantasy' and that he was as good as everyone proclaimed and he would either 'wait' for her to be of age, or they'd realize the mistake and come home. I honestly did believe he would not 'hurt' her (in the suicide/murder way) and felt she was 'safe' from violence, in the sense of violence causing physical injury (not that sex hasn't) but in the NOT BEATEN, BRUISED, NEEDING EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE way. Obviously she'll need counseling etc..... Her family has said... she is HEALTHY.... and coming home . Its a better ending than many have. And yes, he WILL get his in prison.

As much sympathy as I feel for JC, I am beginning to side-eye her a bit, like I did with Dottie Sandusky. I mean, C'MON! Really? :notgood:

Based on the horrible experience of a close friend of mine, I can totally believe that JC didn't have a clue. My friend and her husband mentored a teen of about 16 with similar interests who was a student of my friend. They treated her like a daughter. After she turned 18, my friend caught her husband kissing her. He apologized profusely, begged for forgiveness, the girl was banished from visiting them, and my friend tried to rebuild her marriage, not realizing that he was still seeing her. When she turned 19, husband and girl took off together in a carefully hatched plot, leaving my friend blindsided and devastated. Call her naive, but she didn't have a clue. By the way, husband was 65! Needless to say, the relationship lasted only two years and he is now alone. His adult kids will barely speak to him. My friend divorced, moved near her kids and has rebuilt her life quite well. I wish the same for JC, but it's a long road.

They were at WalMart. Makeup remover is readily available and less expensive. Ky is in the warrant to support the charges presented. The implications are more than obvious IMO.

I am guessing they will give Elizabeth a full health screen. He may have been married for many years but that does not necessarily mean he is free from disease and also I wonder if he ever had extra marital affairs before this. You have to wonder . I was terrified this would be a case like the girl from California where that man killed her mom and brother and took her off to Idaho. So happy this had a better outcome . I hope they learned a lesson from that case and help her especially with the social media, people can be so cruel and she must be very scared...Im sorry I cannot remember her name but she was tormented on the internet with rude haters and people who just flat abused her.

So true! Those people were so cruel. They picked apart every single thing they could, from her nails to how she dressed. They were even attacking a young lady from New Hampshire who was kidnapped. These were grown adults. It was shocking. People like that are straight up bullies!

So glad to hear ET has been found. I really didn't know what to think, where they went. I am just glad they got him and ET can be with her family!
