Investigators said Saquoia is believed to be out by herself walking and was last seen on camera just after 3 a.m. They are conducting a door-to-door ground search and aerial and K9 units are also helping.
Samuels is 3 feet tall, and she has a feeding tube on the left side of her stomach. She was last seen wearing a light blue shirt, black pants with colored hearts and possibly pink house shoes.
Anyone who has any information is asked to call 911 or MPD at 901-545-2677.

Would really like to know how the scent dogs are acting or reacting and if they alerted on her scent. Just wondering.

TBI, FBI joined search for 4-year-old girl missing from Memphis home

The young girl, Sequoia Samuels, was reported missing Thursday morning.

Sequoia is 3 feet tall and 30 pounds. She has a feeding tube on her left side. She was last seen wearing a light blue shirt and black pants with hearts on them. She may be wearing pink house shoes.

She was last seen in the area of the 200 block of Caldwell Avenue.

Police say they are reviewing footage from a neighbor’s doorbell camera that shows her leaving the home and walking by herself around 3 a.m.

There are also drones in the area searching for the girl.

Family now asking community to call law enforcement with ANY details because her mother “isn’t doing well.” Sequoia’s great uncle says she is an “angel” and “very curious.” He tells us she was born premature.

This case needs a lot more attention. Was Saquoia spotted on any other surveillance video? As asked above, does she have any urgent medical needs? Meds she's missing? How often does she need to be tube fed?

Remains have been found during the search for a missing 4-year-old girl.

According to Memphis police, the remains were found in the 200 block of Caldwell Avenue just before midnight.

“As a parent my heart aches with this information,” aid Stg. Louis Brownlee with the Memphis Police Department. “We just ask the community to wrap their arms and pray for this family as they go through these troubled times.”

Police said the remains do still need to be identified but the remains are of a small juvenille.

“We thank all of our community partners that helped us in our search today and we just ask you guys to continue to pray again for this family and for law-enforcement as we push through these tough times,” said Brownlee.

A man and woman have both been detained. No charges have been filed but the investigation is ongoing.
