I will cede to your opinion since you are a professional. I guess the worry is that the guilty doesn't come because of the ridiculous latitude given to this defense and others.

It's not really fair because the defense is always going to be given greater latitude than the prosecution because the state can't appeal, but the defense definitely will if she is convicted.

These trials have become the new "reality tv". It's disgusting.

As much as I love a live trial, I am beginning to believe that they should be taped and shown afterwards. Maybe starting with verdict watch.

I have all the confidence in the world in this jury. After that other farce of trial we watched I believe this jury will do the right thing.

Once the other jury failed at their attempt at fame and money, I believe that folks are taking these cases much more seriously.

You know, I thought the same for a long time. I truly believe if Casey Anthony trial was not televised she would have been found guilty. It is tempting for so call experts to have a hidden agenda (money, books, TV) becoming a household name.
I also believe this trial would not drag out as long as it has. People are human and it is hard for some to ignore the limelight. Good or bad. moo
