The butt hiding episode was yesterday. You can tell by what she is wearing--the green shirt with the brown t shirt over it.

Oh geeze.

I'm getting the freaking NefArias FogNesia........:banghead::banghead:

I keep hearing that there are lots of juror questions for Dr. Samuels. This makes me nervous. What on EARTH would they want to ask him? I don't think I'd believe him if he told me it was 2013. I'd look to make sure.

I bet they did a full strip and cavity search on her before she left he courthouse today. I hope she's sleeping in the hole tonight.

Hoping they give her cell a good shake down also.

One would also think the A/C inside Travis' house wouldn't be kept at such a cold temperature 24/7 since the occupants weren't home all the time. Honestly I believe them not noticing the odor had more to do with where Travis' body was, in the shower stall, in the bedroom rather than having the A/C on all the time. We also don't know how much time the roommates spent in the house between the murder and his body being discovered.

MOO

One of the roommates was brand new, only lived there a week or two. So he might have just thought something smelling awful was normal in that upstairs.

The other roomie was staying at his girlfriends. So he might not have ever gone upstairs. And if he had, he might have assumed that TA left some food in his room that went bad. We left a fresh salmon steak outside of the fridge once and left for the weekend, meaning to give it to our neighbors first. It smelled horrible.

Don't forget Travis was not poor and this is pre-2008 financial boom also.

Personally, living here, I can't imagine it unless they had the air cranked up to foreclosure levels (ykwim lol). I also wonder whether the MB and/or bath had a Western exposure. I had NO idea the significance of that until I moved to AZ. I have these smallish cut-out windows in the loft area that face West and the temp in the loft on any given day in the Summer is probably 20 degrees more than the rest of the house. And the sun shining through my Southern exposure bathroom window "opaque squares" -- I know you know what I'm talking about as another res. of the 'dale -- has melted all my bath candles and ruined all of my lotions. I just cleared them out this weekend :/

Redding, CA is very HOT in the summer and most days are over 100+.....it is a dry heat like Arizona and the evenings are wonderful. I sometimes put a sweater on, in the house, when the AC is too cold for me. I don't think JA had a sweater on for that reason. Like many of you, I think she was wearing a sweatshirt with the pocket is the front.

Redding, CA is about a 2 hour drive from Oregon and closer to the coast. Not sure where it falls per the jet stream, but respectfully, Redding and Mesa are sort of apples to oranges, no? :)

I don't know what is going with y'all's ACs because in Texas where it gets to over 100 degrees I am able to get the house cold enough to need to use comforters and wear a sweater. Like into the 60s.

A lot of people are excusing the judge's lack of control because this is a "death penalty" trial. Then they don't like us complaining about the defense team and their tactics because, after all, this is a "death penalty" trial.

Can we all be honest here please? This is a "victim who was slaughtered" trial. Jodi is upset? I don't care! Defense team wants more latitude? I don't care! The judge feels she must give more leeway for the defendant so she is not overturned? I don't care!!!

This trial is all about Travis, who was stabbed in the heart and back and hands and feet, 29 times! Travis's throat was slit from ear to ear! Travis was shot in the temple!

So she was going to get dumped? I don't care! We all get used at one time or another, in one way or another. We all feel cheated and get hurt at least once. We don't kill.

This Is ALL about Travis. So please all you bleeding hearts who feel for the judge, who feel bad for thedefense, who keep saying, well after all this is a death penalty case. Stop it!
Jodi is guilty of premeditated felony murder.

ALL ABOUT TRAVIS. AND JUSTICE.

Don't holler at me but it is because it's a DP case. The horrific nature of Travis' murder gets lost as we debate and discuss and scream about how bad Jodi is. Jodi has become the latest in a long line of killers of Travis and/or JonBenet, Caylee, Haleigh, Lacy Peterson and so many other innocents. We grieve together and with any luck we leave stronger for having been here. God Bless The Innocents.

Funny here is ANOTHER video of Arias rolling her eyes at JM for asking about Samuel's memory...

for reference, here was the other one, at a different point in today's trial

Miss ATTITUDE!

They had a lot of questions for Miss Jodi too. It didn't seem like they believed her either.

WHOAAA. Great Catch. Definitely pill popping. Wonder if Wilcott gave her something she was not supposed to have.

I've seen her take a pill before and asked about it a few weeks ago - no one seems to know anything about it. And, I guess, rightfully so... it could be anything - including something innocuous. I don't think we'll find out about it any time soon. :)

Sounded to me like Travis's area was kind of way off and large. With the AC on and him being in the shower I'm sure contained some of it as far as smell. Didn't sound like either roomie had they been there, spent enough time or went very far into the house. The neighbors however is different. I can't believe how little info has come from the neighbors in general. My neighbor hung himself in the backyard. I heard his wife find his body.

I'm so glad you raised that issue. It has been driving me insane that the roommates didn't investigate what had to be an increasingly hideous smell. Second floor bathroom with a window in... JUNE! I guess you have to live in AZ to get the heat and how truly bizarre their INACTION was. Obviously the key was readily accessible to the guy with the blondish hair... can't recall his name? Odd.
I have been listening to the witnesses the state called at the beginning of the trial. Several people mentioned that the dog had pooped and peed all over the house--they initially thought that was the smell. I can understand that--who would initially think that someone was murdered. For normal people that would not be the first thing they would think of

Has anybody ever wondered or speculated as to why she locked the door and tried to hide everything? Why didn't she just leave with the crime scene wide open to everyone? just wondering

Most likely she wanted to buy herself as much time as possible. That is why I believe she had to have his body in the shower, and she locked the bedroom door so as his roommates wouldn't go in there, and would also believe he was out of town.
