Did this fine doctor in his infinite wisdom foresee his patient who is---- unassertive, a pacifist, with low self-esteem, amnesia, acute stress disorder and repressed memories---flipping off her own expert witness in a murder trial?

Yup! Gotta love karma! She's getting exactly what she deserves and this dude is burying her!!

I think Jodi was sending the PhD a message!

The doc appears to be treating the courtroom like a patient who was initially hostile and difficult but now he senses he is making a breakthrough. So delusional.

Are Willmott and Samuels on some sort of verbal loop that causes brain cells to shrink - or self-lobotomize?

All I hear is: trauma, story, test, event, trauma, maybe, test, similar, event, story, trauma, test, maybe...

Now they are done, thank goodness and God!! This business of the lies being defense mechanism is true but and this a big but the motivation for suspects interrogated by a really good Detective (Flores) are going to be defensive and a Lie!!!

"I didn't do it" or "I wasn't there" are common defense mechanism of suspects. If Detectives haven't heard once they have heard a zillion times.

Then there are the create ones like Jodi "Blame the phantom 'other'".

Dr. Snob just left out a bit of the explanation on that defensive mechanism reasons.

Just my Professional Opinion.

looks no deeper than the surface stories he's being told by her words whether in journals or conversation. To me, he just comes across as "easily snookered" which is not ideal for his role.

I also don't get why there was never a real evaluation of anything beyond her stories-like whether she has a personality disorder which would then lead you to understand that her stories are just that, stories. I'm assuming/hoping that Juan's expert has done something more along those lines.

I think the doc is describing exactly how Jodi perceived the relationship. I think Jodi felt "abused" and Jodi felt like Travis had all the power and Jodi felt like she went to extremes to accommodate Travis and Jodi felt like it was the end of the world if Travis didn't call her for a couple of days.

No doubt this is how she described the relationship, but that does not mean that it bears any resemblance to reality -- it only reflects Jodi's distorted perception.

Plus I bet she didn't disclose to the doc that she slashed tires, sent threatening emails to Travis' girlfriend, followed Travis and invaded his email and social media.

I'm so excited about rebuttal being around the corner that I wanna do a happy dance!

In those videos I saw, Jodi never mentions her own family or concern for their reaction to her arrest.

I'm thinking that her tight sweater shows the fact that she's wearing a shock belt and the jacket is there to block the bulge of it from the jury.

Ahhh..makes sense, but hell, the cat has been let out of the bag that "the place she lives" = jail, so I wonder why it matters. Oh well.

God, what an experience. Gives me a whole new appreciation for what Wenwe4 and KMouse do. Giving my hand a break for a minute.

So if I understand what happened today, the jury asks questions, maybe 100, and then Ms. Wilmott asks EACH AND EVERY QUESTION all over again. I don't think there was any new information once she started. Is there some point to this?
