Point scored by the defense, about why RH wouldn't have wanted to drive to lunch that day. Having friends picking him up would save him 20 minutes, time he needed because he was leaving early.
None of that makes sense for me - there's no question he left Cooper in the car. But leaving early from work when he had a deadline looming just doesn't have anything at all to do with whether he was negligent in forgetting Cooper or not.
As far as having an audience to see his distress - he could have manufactured that anywhere and at any time. He didn't need to leave for the movie early to drum up an audience.
See what I mean?
Might he have left work early to make sure he was not there when his wife went to pick up Cooper?
Or maybe he just wanted to get the whole thing over with.
IMO
Weren't they all leaving early? Picking Ross up surely cost his friends time.
Right....when did he text Leanna to find out when she was going to pick up Cooper? I don't think he ever got a reply from her about it.
3:17 p.m.: Prosecutors say Harris received an email from Cooper's day care, Little Apron Academy, as his son was dying inside his hot car. He also texted his wife around 3:15 p.m. that day asking her, "When are you going to get my buddy?"
Well there goes "motive"
