Why is this D attorney going over all the pix she sent RH, one by one? How humiliating for her. What was the point of that?

He seriously just asked her if she still engages in this kind of behavior. WTF.

She must feel horrible enough, now knowing that RH's baby was frying in the car while they were sexting each other....:sigh:

I have understood all their lines of questioning, even when they were more aggressive than what seemed needed. There was a point, and it always seemed logical. But this line of questioning made them look terrible and desperate. That poor witness.

My opinion of Kilgore just dropped through the floor. Frikkin' bully.

It appears Ross had the base of the infant car seat installed incorrectly, IMO. It should have been horizontal with the ground and it was clearly at an angle, IMO.

The base was installed correctly for the reenactment based on what I see in the photos. IMO

The positioning of the base affects the position of the infant carrier. IMO

No I think you have it backwards. The base was down/flush 6/18/14. When put back in they it was at angle as you say in the 7/2/14 photo that they put a doll in and took photo in. It was also incorrect in that photo of the reconstruction hot car pic. That not how RH had it orig.

*advertiser censored* shaming, IMO.

To take the focus off of his client.

No, that's not what I see.

I feel bad for the young lady. But by her own testimony she was doing it also. He first responded to her post about people being pansies and wouldnt post their pictures after she did hers (paraphrashing)
But Kilgore is just doing his job. Like it or not. Same as State. Don't think the Stater isn't not gonna get on Def witnesses. JMHO

ss from court. The bottom, white looking. It would make the car seat lean back more toward the front seat. The CSI Grimstead did not measure the carseat properly when he put back in on 7/2/14 and took photos with a doll (they got a diff one later more to Cooper measurements but not exact) The tilt was collapsed orig. Someone manipulated the car seat. after removed 6/18/14

To me it looks the same in both pics, although it's hard to compare because the angle of the photos is different. But looking at where the car seat's handle is between the two seats, it appears to be in the same place in both pics.

Is this difference an opinion or was it actually testified to?

I believe RH has left Cooper in the car before. I wonder how many times and if we will hear from Leanna about them. If I was on the jury I would still be waiting for evidence that will make me believe beyond a reasonable doubt that RH premeditated this.

I recall Leanna's comment about Ross having left Cooper in the car and figured that he had done this before. I really didn't see anything sinister about it at the time. I never left DD alone in the car for any reason, and I don't think she'd leave her own children alone in a vehicle, either. That said, I think there are likely times when parents choose to do this if a child is asleep or when the weather is bad and it's just easier to lock the car to run a quick errand.

Leanna's comment only took on a more ominous tone for me when I began to question whether or not she and/or Ross had actually discussed leaving Cooper in a hot car deliberately to get him out of their lives. I guess that's what this case is really about, and a jury will determine if Ross intentionally left Cooper to die in a hot car.

No, I couldn't disagree more. *advertiser censored* shaming a woman is not doing his job. establishing that this behavior is common on the internet, that was his job. Establishing when it happened, that was his job. Continuing to go on about every state of her body parts repeatedly and asking if she still engages in this behavior. That is NOT his job. Her behavior now has NOTHING to do with this. His line of questioning went beyond the necessary point, and into "I'm going to make you look like a *advertiser censored*, and you lead him on. He WANTED her to say she still engaged in this, so he could further make her look like a *advertiser censored*. HER character is not on trial, HIS is.

JMO. But I can't agree with it. And I think it did nothing positive for his defense.

EXACTLY. Not so much fun fooling around behind spouses' backs when a baby is dying in the process.

(Not her fault...I feel for her having to come forward with this testimony....but.....geez.)

I think the Defense came off as bullies. There was no need to slowly and painfully make her acknowledge each photo she sent that day. It was all about humilition and *advertiser censored* shaming, imo. Not a good look for them.

I agree. And I realize the state is not going to question witnesses like it's a breezy day at the park. But, I hope they don't stoop to this level.

What's the point? To say poor Ross was tricked into forgetting his child because this shameless woman shows him her t*ts?

Please.

If anyone needed more reasons not to get into sexting with strangers..... this case sure is it.

Yikes. I cannot imagine what this woman is feeling.

Detective RB Smith. He's been with Cobb County LE for 25 years. He is the high tech crime scene unit since 2009.

He was in the crimes against persons unit for 11 years.

He remembers to go to chik-fi-la to stuff his face. He manages to remember all the girls he is texting. He remembers to bring in his briefcase & coffee. He remembers to go to lunch. He remembers to buy lite bulbs. He remembers how to get to the prostitute's hotel. He remembers to save his guitar from the horrible heat in his car. He remembers his phone everywhere he goes. He forgets his 22 month old baby in a carseat 3" from his head in a very hot car 3 minutes after he kisses him on the mouth. Oh Please??!!!!!
