IMO This is what I have been saying since the beginning. With this testimony, it makes more sense that this wasn't just a dare. He was a pimp, which means it's very possible that he was either "breaking Tori in" to deliver her or someone else was there raping her. The testimony about the safe house really surprised me, why would she go to a safe house? Why would he have posted good things coming my way? Why did he say he wanted a younger one, because maybe they don't put up such a fight? IMO, he slept with alot of women and there's no past record of him liking children. just 30 women, one after the next and now one of his <modsnip>. What really happened that day? Is this why Toris dad said "we will never know what really happened?" He was going away anyway, he was an accessory to murder from the get go whether or not he struck the hammer or TLM did, he could have stopped her if it was in fact her...IM SICK! If there's a remote possibility that I am right, than another child molester is still free!

They discussed dating online. He asked her out. She never went out with him.

He was taking notes furiously yesterday when his BBMs with Charity came up. Maybe his lawyer coached him to be poker faced. I'm sure the jury notices how he reacts to various exes on the stand and forms some sort of opinion. I don't think the defence liked that and finally persuaded the judge to instruct the jury to ignore those witnesses.

On cross examination, Cerstine asks if he asked for a date before April 8th. She says yea. No more questions

Maybe he was blackmailing her for something. Or both of them agreed to try and recruit young women and he would be the recruiter.

Why is the Crown not asking these girls WHY they all go out with him once and don't want to see him again, IMO it's because his pimping ways are not part of this case.

His character is the reason why he was able to manipulate her. Which she testifed to. WTH is this judge thinking?

She is asked about his car, as he drove to Tim Horton's. It was messy, looked like repairs were being done.

She didn't look into the back of the vehicle.

I hate to say it, but, the long list of women he was with will have a shadow over them now, due to this testimony by the prostitute. I think people will wonder if MTR was trying to recruit them or something, now that we have testimony that he was in all likelihood a pimp.

The reason why I think that Derstine did not try and say that the $ Charity was giving MTR was for something other than sex acts, is because Derstine does NOT want to open that can of worms, because there is likely evidence of it being true (him being a pimp). Afterall, Derstine has the witness testimony in this case.

If there was no truth to Charity's testimony of her giving him the prostitution $, I am quite sure Derstine would have spent a lengthy time under cross, trying to show that the prostitution had NOTHING to do with MTR.

I do feel so sorry for the innocent women in this horrible case.

She sent a joke to him (and other contacts) through e-mail. He sent her an angry email saying he didn't like getting those emails

Does anyone have a legal reference for not considering the character of the accused at trial? This is absolutely baffling to me. Seriously. I am dumbfounded at that.

I think what the judge is implying is that promiscuity should not be considered a character flaw anymore in this day and age. JMO
