my "back up" husband (ha! hubbys best friend)is a nurse at the jail. ive asked how he dealt with gary hilton.... (cheryl dunlap)... he said you have to put a mental block on his crime and just do your job. ugh. there is a reason im"just" a mom!

Thank you. I wanted to refresh my memory. Obviously, that would imply pretty severe injuries to his mouth or jaw or chin or whatever-the-heck the bullet hit. I mean, his entire tongue could be missing. His jaw could be shattered. All kinds of nasty stuff. How long is "anytime soon."

I wonder if the appointed attorney visited him.
 
I just want to know if Holder is awake! Hope someone can teach him & his lawyer sign language. Need Justice on this case.

I would hope LE has come up or will come up with some way for TH to tell them what they want to know.

Paper and pens still exist somewhere in this country. I don't think his jaw messes with his hands. If he's awake, he's probably just not saying anything. I wanted him to be alive to answer questions, but something about him makes me think he's not going to ever cooperate.

Just catching up so I'm sure this has already been posted many times but ....
TH's behavior, pulling the gun and spitting at firefighters etc.., I don't think LE will get any info from him at all regarding an accomplice or anything else for that matter. MOO
 
I really don't care about Holder! I've heard some Virginia talk teens talk about "Suicide by cop". I really believe this is what Holder did because he was to cowardly to off himself.... To bad he wasn't killed! Now the State will have to pay for his medical and
legal bills. I do feel very sorry for his Mother though.

I don't feel sorry for his Mother. She must have known he was offside, and at the very least, she must have supported his drug use.

I think he will talk. He has a lot of self loathing, so I think he will want to get it off of his chest. He may be prevented to do so by his mother and attorneys.

I wonder if the mother is in the house? If she can't stand to live there, I can't imagine that anyone could stand to live there. It must be a horrifying nightmare for people to look at that house.
 
I respect that Alanna's family may want answers, but what answers from someone like this would anyone want to hear? I don't want to understand the mind that thinks it's okay to lure/abduct, rape, and murder a six-year-old girl. Frankly, I don't care why he did it.

I don't really care if he was abused or if he had a sad life, and I hate that past abuse may be used as a way to excuse or explain his behavior. I find that unacceptable. Millions of children are abused, but they don't go on to rape and murder defenseless babies.

I will never just assume she knew without rock solid proof. I've known many terrific parents of teens that do bad things. I would bet my last dollar she NEVER saw something like this coming. Who could???

If every 17 year old pot smoker turned out to be a killer, I'd be very worried. Many teen boys get into their share of trouble during their teens and seem to struggle with becoming responsible adults... The majority find their way eventually.
