Hi there Kaen, I hope that the webcams Botham had in his home and that they were uploaded to his cloud account. It is obvious there were cams in his home per the warrant.
I didn't get that. I would love to know if that is the case. It would make me think more that justice would happen. Could that be why the computer had damage? If it was a work computer it would have continual back up. Wow, that might be a game changer.

Snip:
FOX 4 was told, but cannot independently confirm, that Amber Guyger was also a courtesy officer at the building she lived in. For her presence on property and responsibilities, she would have received reduced rent. It is a common practice for many officers to receive free or reduced rent for living in properties and providing some level of security. End Snip.
Legal expert: Arrest affidavit in Botham Jean shooting is not typical

Yes, I stated this on Sunday, but due to the fact that it was in a scanner reference it was deleted. I had to post a thread in the scanner forum and important info I posted was gone. (Too late for me to do it all over when I saw all was gone) I did post it again though yesterday.

I missed that. Very interesting. If she had a pass key that changes things again. I'm getting dizzy watching this case. moo

I know what you mean

The other day a policeman showed up at my door. Unannounced. "Yes, sir, may I help you? Is there a problem?" I politely provided the information he wanted. Turned out he was given the wrong address.
It happens all the time. Something went wrong here in Dallas, and we don't know quite exactly what.

Yes but the policeman in your story did not get his own home mixed up with yours.

Right, but the killer had complete access until the fireman arrived, and they couldn't get in, due to the security gates, a resident actually let them in.

Who knows what the killer did or said? She may have destroyed the laptop herself. And the Killer was in complete control of the scene, including to be deceptive, the story kept "evolving". I wonder if anything was planted, or stolen. Who knows?!

I don’t think it’s crazy to think he was waiting in bed, mostly unclothed and left the door ajar or propped open for a lady friend to come in and join him. He sounds like a careful, meticulous person who would opt for safety first but sex is sex and he’s a grown man. I’ve certainly had doors left unlocked for me during my dating years.
I’m embarrassed to be from Dallas. It feels so gross how LE seems to be covering for her, protecting her and diminishing his character. Why is nobody digging up dirt on her? Why haven’t ex bfs/gfs coming out with details about who she is and how she lived? I also think it’s pretty blaringly obvious her and/or her “people” have been on this thread. IMO There is no way anyone with a soul could defend her actions as some new posters have. I hope she’s reading here and understands that no amount of cronyism or corruption can save her. The public is outraged and she has shamed each and every citizen whom trusts in LE to do no harm.

I believe cronyism and corruption can and will save her. The only hope is that the attorneys, and Shaun King continue to press for truth. Who would have ever thought I would be on the same side as Shaun King...ever.

The world is a crazy place.

Listen to the lies the Killer has told;

1. She couldn't get her key in the door, and Botham answered the door, startling her.
2. The door was unlocked and she went in.
3. The door was open, so she went in.

Lucky you. The only time I've had them show up at my door, they were also at the wrong place and first threatened to knock my door down then threatened to physically move me if I didn't allow them immediate access to my abode. Now I realize how lucky I was they didn't just shoot me. For quietly reading with my cats at 2am.

Yes, this. This happened when they came knocking for a prior tenant. It was terrifying.

I also got a wrong number phone call from them once. Threatened to take my kids away if I refused to testify against a defendant. My phone number was apparently one digit different than the poor young lady they were trying to threaten and intimidate.

I was crying and shaking for days and terrified they would show up. I didn't leave my house and I slept in my kids room. I eventually threw a fit and ended up with an apology from several higher ups. Though, it didn't change the horribly wrong tactics they were using to start with.

I will always remember those words.

"If you don't come in and testify against him we will come and take your kids away!!!"

They still echo in my head. I will never again trust law enforcement. Ever.

I’ll tell you what, Botham had brave, intelligent and investigation savvy neighbors. I think it’s really touching how many are taking time out of their lives to not only seek justice for him and to go as far as producing content that will be very valuable in doing so, IMO. I hope they’re reading here too, bravo. You guys convince me that we do infact have selfless good humans out there.

His first name is Botham.
His last name is Jean.
Why do you keep referring to him as Shem? Just curious.

Calling a perpetrator by their first name and a victim by an informal or unfamiliar to the public name, is a tactic often used in the court and the court of public opinion. It personalizes the perpetrator and minimizes the victim's value.

I have often wondered if Botham's parents were cricket fans. There is a very famous British cricketer named Ian Botham and I believe St Kitts was a British colony.
