Boy, ya'll can be difficult to please. Wasn't long ago that the cries were 'where is family and friends?'. Now family and friends are stepping up and wanting answers very legally and you want them to sit down and shut up.

I haven't said much about family and friends here, but I do want them to be active in finding Christina and answers. I also want them to be upfront with the public about what is behind targeting this particular person and not shutting people down for asking questions. I don't want them to "sit down and shut up" at all!

Maybe they should split up their resources and target other homes with people in them who may have all the answers. The "key" to finding Christina may be miles away and really happy to see people waving signs just short of pitchforks at the wrong target.

For pages and paaaages in the beginning every one was all over her boyfriend, talking about his past, his hobbies, his clothing, how he looks "creepy". But now the guy who was literally the last person seen with her, who her closest family and friends think is responsible or has information is being looked at and everyone is so upset about it?! I don't understand.. If the family is picketing his house and not the boyfriends house, I would imagine they have good reason, and probably at least a little more information than us.

I just find it hypocritical how terribly the boyfriend was attacked in the first few threads when he was not a POI or a suspect, but now every one is offended when people want to look at the guy who actually left the party with her...

They are not just looking at the guy - they are protesting at his parent's home (his home?) and bringing <modsnip>. Quite a big difference IMO.

If that's the case then why are they allowed to picket by his house? They have had the permission from both APD and PPD. I would think that if PPD has in fact cleared him then they would tell the family to not picket his house etc.

I don't believe permission is needed or granted to picket. It is our constitutional right to assemble.

Maybe the police could have shown the family the interview they did with EA. This could have been squashed along time ago. Why isn't LE easing the parents mind on EA.

There were allegations made by a few on here that the searchers were involved... Was somewhat offensive.

I must have missed that. All I have seen is praise for any and all searchers.

Also, remember when Christina posted on her FB page something about karma being real EA is the one who responded that she, Hunter, and someone named Tyler would get theirs. Makes me think that possibly EA felt that he or someone close to him had been wronged by them.

NS made a statement to a reporter that Christina seemed a little upset but he didn't know why. So, he was around that night/morning too. That's interesting considering he's the person who indicated on CM's FB he wasn't happy about a situation. When was that - March 2014?

wrong person you're thinking of steve? nickerson the NS being referred to has never spoken to anyone about anything is is only related to this case based and a FB comment on CMs status from more than a year ago.

If he has nothing to do with it, why wouldn't he volunteer his clothing, home and vehicle for forensic testing and ask LE to provide the info to the public if nothing was found, so people would move on and the search efforts could be more productive?

they're peacefully assembling on public property (sidewalk) the bill of rights is why they are allowed. I don't think they have cleared anyone, cooperating and cleared are different things.

LE usually won't go that far to say a person of interest has been "cleared". They will maintain the cordial relationship idea ("fully cooperating", "not looking at him as a suspect, but as a witness", etc.). "Cleared" has definite implications when and if a case goes to trial. Doesn't sound good for a jury to hear LE once believed the subject was truthful and beyond investigating further.

The PD did recently state they they are treating the people she was with that night as witnesses. He was part of the group of people she was with that night.

i just want to say that before today I had seen the dudes initials but didn't know the name now that i do and i've seen some SM stuff by the guy, he to me IMO is the type of person who could be involved in something like this. If it comes out that he is the guy then it wouldn't surprise me (prior to today it would have).

That being said if nothing more than what has been made public has been found on the guy then, I really question all this. If there is more information then why can't they a get warrants to search his property etc.?

if the stuff discussed is accurate and there is no more information I have to say i am not a fan of this. If I was him there is no way in hell i would talk to a family that obviously suspects me ... and frankly I would talk to LE once and tell them everything I knew, after that if they want more then they have to have a warrant.

I hope the family has more information. If I was them i would be totally frustrated with the lack of anything from LE and would want to raise hell to stir them (LE) up but unless you have more information pointing to the walker then they should go about doing it in a different way.

Do we know that? We've got to assume that the family have some idea of what they are doing, I'm sure they know the addresses of all of the witnesses but they are only standing outside one of them JMO
