And one other thing - I know it's probably just the way of things for young people today, and I may be off base, but to go out with friends and spend so much time texting your current bf is kind of rude IMO.

it hasn't been released exactly what their status at that time, could of been some turmoil that was causing the texts and calls.
younger generation is on their phones constantly, next time you go out to eat. Just look around, it will amaze you how much people are on their phones.. Definitely a changing of times

Remember - you can't "sleuth" those unnamed individuals.

Also, if you see a quote that is messed up, please alert it so we can catch it early before the whole thread has to be cleaned up.

If indeed Christina had been upset all day for any reason, maybe she was just looking for a distraction and her closer friends were busy or away, so she called someone from this other group? And just kind of tagged along, without really firm plans made in advance? I guess that could explain none of them making a determined effort to find out if she made it back to FW, or to work, if she was really scheduled. And why there seems to be confusion over where she planned to sleep, what she wore, etc., even why EA was less than diligent in his escorting chores. From her FB, it seems she has a "best friend" and she was not in this group, was she? I used to have "second-tier" friends to fall back on, in my early twenties, if I just wanted to get out of my apartment, for example.

Just trying to guess at why the reactions to her leaving alone so late seem to be so casual, I guess, and then no follow-up. Though even back then, in my day, since I lived in L.A., one of us checked up on the other as we often had long drives home.

Sorry, Bossladies/men...really screwed that one up bad.

It's okay guys - just remember, if they are not named POI/Suspect, the only discussion is what we know from MSM/LE. Sleuthing is not allowed and asking questions that leads to sleuthing is not allowed. We can only discuss what is known.

I wonder what you all think about EA's brother being questioned 3x?

From what I have seen every friend who wasn't at the party has done anything and everything to help... Party goers not so much.

This is all so strange to me. If she was not close friends with the people at the party, then why did she plan on staying with them? I thought there might be a one or two close friends at the party, it sounds like she wasn't close friends, according to Carltondance? Just seems strange, IMO. That was also interesting to hear that Christina's friends that were NOT at the party have all been very helpful but the ones at the party, not so much. This is all so sad and confusing. Just want her to be found!!!!!! Think about her everyday.

Haven't you ever gone to a sleep over and decided you would rather go home. I think this is what happened with CM. She wanted to go home and probably see what HF was up to and tend to her dog.

I, personally, would not call up acquaintances and go out with them and make plans to stay with them. It's another story if I ran acquaintances at the bar, with my group of friends, then we all go to acquaintance's house for after party and then we realize it's 4am and we've had too much to drink, so we end up crashing at this persons house I haven't talk to in years. But it sounds like she had plans to always stay there and ended up wanting to go home. Just seems to get more and more confusing. That's all. My opinion only.

I definitely agree with you that she wanted to leave to see what HF was doing. And that her text to him about leaving door unlocked was to get a response to him. Just my opinion only. Who knows what really happened. Wish we knew. I'm hoping LE is piecing all of this together :(

I think if you drive all the way from Ft Worth to Plano, she was invited to stay the night cause' they were going to party late. I have invited friends and friends of friends to spend the night when I know that they have traveled a long distance and I would rather they not try to drive home late and possibly drinking.

I wouldn't even plan on a sleepover with people I wasn't really close to. That is strange. To me, it makes more sense that she wanted to go home. IMO.

It was stated that she changed her mind about staying over; I guess that's when EA said he was going home and since they were parked in the same area, she decided to leave at the same time so she'd have somebody to walk with. Her mind was definitely on bf and wanting to go home. My heart is so sad for her family.

Agreed. Also to see/be able to post conflicting opinions without conflict. IMO

I noticed that. That's why I took a break. It was getting to be too much. I'll have to go back and look through the info on the car being taken in for searching , I seem to of missed it!

Weren't these all people she went to high school with? Maybe not close to now but grew up with so-to-speak? If that's the case I could understand.

Was this kind of an impromptu H.S. reunion? Was this a planned get together?

It's in the interviews EA did that aired Thursday and Friday.

I understand if you don't want to answer but I wonder if you're female and the same age group as Christina, I'm female but older than her and her friends and I don't text friends after we've gone our separate ways after a night out and it's not something I'd imagine 20 something guys do.

Do you do it on some form of group chat where everyone checks in? (not strictly O/T but wondering if maybe I should set something up with my friends)

I'm almost late 40's and if I go out with girlfriends or I'm out late with friends, even we text to follow up and verify the other is safe. I was thinking maybe that didn't happen here because kids don't know how to be cautious, but based on JM stating Christina had a fear of being abducted, my guess is she herself would text, call or ask others to check up on her to verify she's safe. Maybe there are voice mail we have not been privy too that some have left just thinking when she finally got to them she would call. Maybe LE got another phone and activated her number on it to get any texts that may not have gone through before her cell service died, phone died or phone was turned off. Hoping even though LE states cameras were not good quality, it's a ploy to mislead someone who they are trying to gain more information on. Hoping some of the cameras on the tolls and other areas can provide something. It's too bad forensic testing takes so long because the delays do seem to make it harder to imagine just what happened to this sweet young lady.

There are a lot of possibilities and hopefully through diligence they will be able to put the pieces together and have good hard evidence which I believe is all that is holding them back from an arrest
