Could the PI have meant 'drug related' because there were drugs used that night/morning?

I'm thinking not, only because when I hear drug related or gang related, said crime was directly related to drugs or gangs. MOO

This is what she said, "Boudreaux said that in her career as a PI, every person she has looked for disappeared under circumstances involving drugs, money or sex. She believes Morris’s disappearance is somehow drug-related.

“[The people she was with] like to party, and I think it all stems from drugs,” she said. “I’ve tried to tell these people that do drugs that I don’t really care about the drugs. I don’t care what you’re putting in your veins or down your throat. I want Christina, and I want you to tell me things. Then you can go back to popping your pills or whatever.”

She knew about what SB had told LE and she didn't say she thought it was related to a SA. Very telling IMO.

Yes. That is a VERY good point. I agree with you!!

Do we know if this PI is still working on the case? I haven't heard any more about her in msm, or in sm either. Has anyone heard if she is still working with the family?

It seems back when we were having the discussion here of pings from cell phones etc that we had a poster who seemed very knowledgeable in regards to this and IIRC, that poster had mentioned that an iPhone will continue to ping whether it is shut on OR off, and that it actually sends out one last ping before the battery goes completely dead. This is just what I remember. I am not stating it as fact, but rather this is how I remember it being said during earlier discussion.

I think you might mean my post: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...gust-2014-29-*Arrest*&p=11356733#post11356733

Sometimes, after someone is arrested, they're brought before a judge and are indicted the next morning or afternoon, right?
There have been many cases when the indictment takes place shortly after the arrest.
In big cases, we've watched the court procedure on TV.

What is the difference in EA's case, since he's already been charged with AK and is in jail?
This is curious - why is our legal system so complicated?

adding ~ Nevermind, I'm mistaken. Indictment is not an Arraignment. Double duh!

I don't think this crime was drug-related, other than maybe the perp being under the influence of something or other, other than alcohol. Jmo

Does anyone else here use Tapatalk to read/reply on WS? If so, can you see posters' signatures? I cannot, and just wondering if it's just my phone or what.

I can if I tap on the username.

I googled "indictment" and here are a few descriptions that surfaced.

An indictment is a formal accusation of a crime
It need not include an introduction or a conclusion
About half the states require a grand jury indictment for prosecution in felony cases
An indictment need only allege the essential facts

I don't think an indictment is being waited for in EA's case.
An indictment decides if a person will be charged with a felony crime.
EA has already been charged with AK, a felony crime.
Unless new evidence needs to be presented to a grand jury in order to get an indictment if additional charges, such as manslaughter or murder, are to be brought.

Shoot, I confused "arraignment" with "indictment". When was EA arraigned anyway?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arraignment

"A formal reading of a criminal charging document in the presence of the defendant to inform the defendant of the charges against him or her. In response to arraignment, the accused is expected to enter a plea."

Heck, there was even questions surrounding when he was arraigned. I believe he was arriagned the Saturday he was arrested, but a VI said they contacted the jail and was arraigned on Sunday. So...........who knows?

Is there a chance EA's lawyer could file for a continuance or something (and receive it) and push this even further? Gosh, I hope not.

Yes, there's always the chance of continuances being filed - multiple times!
Does EA's case have a trial date set already?
It seems I've missed info along the way.

If you had turned your own phone off, and someone called, it would go straight to voicemail - still would ping so you get the Missed Call msg and at what time. If you had the battery out or smashed it with a hammer, it would not ping. That's my understanding. I can't wait to hear about EA turning his phone off, when hers last received a call or VM. Need to know where they were riding (whether she went willingly or not). Where would EA take her? And why? If he was going to lash out at her from the initial walk into the garage, and still get out of there a few minutes later, why wouldn't he put her in her trunk and wipe it down? She had to go willingly and maybe just to get a buzz, only the buzz was with ALP. I'm going off my rocker now, sorry it is so late!

Don't think there's an actual trial date set, just the bond reduction hearing on the 15th.

Oh, yes, I remember this now. JMOM said she called the courthouse or jail or somewhere and was told he was arraigned on Sunday (wasn't it?). Then, someone else (the reporter iirc) said the arraignment occurred on Saturday. Do the courts conduct arraignments on weekend days?

LOL! I just repeated almost exactly the info you posted. Time to take a rest. :blushing:

I am behind and trying to catch up but I just wanted to comment on something. Employees working at cell phone stores using phones themselves or letting friends try them out is about enough to make a person say Yikes! So if that employee or friend used that phone for something (illegal for example) then do a factory reset on it (thinking this erases all data) then I as a customer go into the store to buy a NEW phone and I end up with one that has been USED but I buy it under the impression I am buying a NEW phone and I pay NEW phone price, then something comes up later and my phone is taken and there is things on there retrievable by LE that have nothing to do with me, I wouldn't be a happy camper!
<<< makes mental note to self: Next time when purchasing a NEW cell phone at cell phone store, make sure I observe it being removed from the factory packing, shrink wrap/bubble wrap, etc.
If I am paying for a new phone, then I want a new phone, not one that has been used by an employee or allowed to be used by a friend or family member first!

Attorney for #EnriqueArochi requested subpoena today, court records show. Arochi charged with aggravated kidnapping of #ChristinaMorris.

Per Collin County Court records:
Subpoena
PP Unserved
SN Unserved
SB Unserved
MM Unserved

Due to the subpoenas, does this mean EA will end up in the same room with Christina's family and friends? If so, he may be moved to tell the truth in their presence.

I don't see him telling the truth. ..... jmo

Thanks, but your link didn't work for me. I took me to a Google search for "Lone Star Mystery" but none of the hits were the right show, they all looked like something that happened in another Texas town. Anyway. I did find YouTube videos of the show. There are 8 parts:

Regarding the phones/pings.
Cm had an Iphone and EA a Galaxy.
IMO the pinging is different in the two devices, as, is the disabling.
It is not easy to remove an Iphone or Galaxy battery. You would need some time and the right tool.
An iphone can be placed in a liquid and be destroyed immediately. A galaxy would take a little longer.
I have had both. Destroyed both. (Unintentionally)
