No I do not really.. camera could have been in the backpack that we see.

Could have been. But the best evidence would be if she had it on her (in front) attached to the strap.
That would be concrete - not 'could have had camera in backpack'.

Unless the backpack is found with all the stuff inside of it, there isn't a way to turn what's inside of it into evidence.
If there's video showing Christina had her camera on her body and later the same camera turned up elsewhere, then that is concrete evidence that means something. It's one piece of evidence to help piece circumstances together.

Hey guys - why would the police have her camera? Is that SOP? I know they look at computers and phones, but is it normal for them to have a camera?

Yes, if they think it could provide evidence. Wonder if LE has issued any warrants.
Either it was turned over to LE voluntarily or police have collected stuff without informing us.

Thats what I was wondering - if it could provide evidence. Thanks!!

I don't think the camera was in her backpack. The backpack she's carrying looks too small. I have a canon rebel dslr, and it's big & bulky. I have a big camera backpack for it.

Someone did and when you enlarge the picture, you can see a strap. If LE has video from the front, or other video turned up, they'll know if she had the camera.

The camera topic is most intriguing because we can make out a strap (at least). Otherwise, who knows?

Sorry .. have to say the strap does not appear to be a camera strap ..
IMO it looks like a long crossbody style wallet strap ..

Eggzactly! Not one item has been found (that we know of) related to Christina has been found. There were some clothes found early on, but we were not told if they were related to Christina, but that they would be tagged and bagged. Now I realize many clothes items were found during the searches that were unrelated. I assume they would have asked Christina's parents are these Christina's clothes and have gotten a positive ID on the clothes. We know what our kids wear, right? Why haven't the parents come and said the clothes were not Christina's? Obviously if they were the clothes from the picture of what she was wearing that night... couldn't we at least be told that bit of information????

I beg to differ. They found the camera...
:gasp:

IMHO Why have 100's of searchers looking for a dang camera for not 1 but 22 days..I think it is way more than just odd.

Because when police conducted early interviews someone may have suggested Christina had her camera.
Notice the wording says may have had her camera. Police were going by info offered to them early on prior to their investigation. At that time, they were searching the surrounding area for a wounded or body of Christina.
We know she had her backpack now because of the video.

Missing person posters aren't always accurate. People can't remember things but pictures speak a thousand words.

And if the Camera had its strap or lens we just do not know ..
But the point is The Camera was at her Home 50miles away ..all this time???

LE will look at the last pics she took and the time stamps on them.
Also-this case has to be a nightmare to investigate.
She walks in a garage and never emerges from it,plus her job is a very social one.
Match making attracts a lot of people,so they have to get in contact will all who
had contact with her.Lots of leg work here.
I feel for her family!I can't imagine seeing my daughter walking in a garage, never to be
seen again!

I don't think a Canon Rebel dslr is in her backpack either. Which is why if a Canon Rebel dslr can be seen on the person of Christina when she was walking in the garage that was later found elsewhere, the camera would be big evidence that would require an explanation.

That's all I'm saying - don't know but believe LE may have been able to find out for certain if other video surfaced.

I watched the video over and over and noticed she's carrying something. Is that her camera or mayber her wallet?

Thanks CatsintheCradle (and laidbacksal)! All this time I thought she was texting in the CCTV clip, but now maybe I think she was playing with her camera . . . like reviewing photos she had taken that night ?

Then with the previous position some have on the CAMERA

Please stop looking for the phone too!!! Missing person is known to carry her iPhone

The information is inaccurate ...

It has to be a living nightmare! I feel for her family too. From the beginning after hearing about her job, I felt she could have attracted some weirdo through her job. Plus, according to the reviews, a lot of people were extremely unhappy with their experience with Great Expectations.

I didn't necessarly think it was taken on that Friday, just asked when. No matter when it was taken, if you're fighting with your bf, why post a photo of him to your IG? Jmo. If she took the photo with her cannon, she would have to upload to her PC first before posting on IG or yooying.

It's possible she uploaded to a shared computer which would also explain him having access to her social media pages without really knowing passwords. I wonder if LE have requested any other property but I'm sure they have to have probable cause but if the laptop or computer were hers that would be necessary because looking at all angles to determine what happened. Originally i dos think it was guy in parking lot or BF but I'm now as baffled as many of you with the exception of the fact I don't gav a good gut feeling it instinct about how this is going to turn up and that has been the same from the beginning and I wish I could say those gut feelings were often wrong. So praying I'm WAY wrong!! I pray everyday she is found safe and unharmed.

I think the strap looks too narrow to be the camera strap. Watch this video http://www.hlntv.com/video/2014/09/08/missing-girls-mom-christina-morris
and at about 0:25 mark, there is a picture of her with the Canon camera strap on. That's not to say she didn't have it, or wasn't holding it as someone just said, but I don't think the strap we looked at in the garage video is as wide as the Canon strap.

I feel like we need to enlarge the photo like the scene from High Anxiety....

Multiple fundraisers, the go fund me accounts and now a chase account. They should explain where the money will be going toward with so many accounts.

That is one thing I am :thinking::thinking::thinking::silenced::silenced::silenced::silenced:
