It was something Crystal texted to a friend of hers. He shared the texts on Primetime Justice. I think it is in the show transcripts for the 31st.

It sounds to me like Hawthorne was having trouble getting the full video from the BF if you really read into what he says and how he says it. And I find it fishy that the BF provides the stills to the media and not to the detectives at that point in the investigation. And do we know if he has provided what the detectives want from him as of now?

In the last Banfield interview the police guy says that the boyfriend willingly came in on his own (i assume he meant without being asked) and did give them the video. Or maybe he was going to be giving it to them the next day? I can't remember but I know that it was addressed and that the boyfriend was willing hand over the footage.

She commented "love y'all" on a pic of the ex and her daughter at the end of March.

Their relationship is very weird. I really think she may have been romantically involved with both of these guys when she disappeared.

That was sure a quick search.Poor Crystal.I'm just not feeling hopeful at all she will be found safely.Her poor kids must be hearing things about her being missing.

Me too! In my community we've had missing persons and searches are organized immediately by the PD. Even with no credible leads volunteers are split up and we try to cover all grounds. The police department is handling the search effort very poorly in my opinion.

Since they didn't want volunteers in order not to contaminate possible evidence, I was under the impression that they had very good reason to be there besides the ping.
There's water and I imagine a lot of brush etc....days to search properly.

Something has changed.
No clue what, but I hope they know a lot more than they are telling.
Very frustrating though.

Maybe the ping info was not through LE but from some "find my phone" app. If so, it might have been misinformation.

Have the police searched the boyfriend's house or the ex's house? Not just a cursory glance around but with a warrant? That needs to be done immediately!

If the police don't have that video by now, they won't be getting it from him. For all his words about how he is helping and blah blah blah, he should have brought that tape to the cops with him when he went. I missed the part about him giving the photos to the media before the cops. Why would he do that?!
