Elizabeth's body was hidden in a broken down Cotton Shed, as per NG tonight.

They state that the body appeared to be there for some time, and that they fear they may be others, that the shed was a familiar place for HS Jr.

I think I read previously on the thread that she has been friends with the family for something like 15 yrs...? So that's probably what that was about.

I for one hope they do investigate! this guy is predator! the thing is I doubt if NG will dig to much into it.... because she already got SA guilty. (and for good reasons)

They keep mentioning psychiatric medications. I wonder if she was taking an anti-depressant. Many young girls struggle with depression when they are going through puberty or the social challenges of high school.

I'm posting this just to make sure we don't assume that she was developmentally delayed or psychotic. JMO. Of course. As always. And forever.

NG did say that cops said the body had been there for some time and an expert felt that Elizabeth was killed shortly after being abducted from the motel. This might rule out the dollar general sighting for Elizabeth, but it needs to be checked on just in case there is something else going on. The charter high school is just across the street from there, and it could have been a step dad catching a truant, but might not be. I believe the school could have video surveillance at their doorway, or at least they seemed to know every move my GS made when he attended there after walking out the doors, and before getting expelled.

I hope the ME can determine time of death and get it down to within a day or two. I also wish they would have an outside ME, just to be certain that no one is leaning toward helping LE out with time of death. I do trust LE but these things happen. We know LE does not want to learn that Elizabeth was killed within the past ten days or so. That could case a real outrage in the community.

I do not think the lady from the dollar store could have seen Elizabeth with the suspect.
If she did then where did he keep her for so many days? He was staying at the hotel with his wife and kids so it would be hard to explain his disappearance if he went on the run with a girl.
It was stated the family was homeless and did not have much money and that is why they were at the hotel.

Where did the suspect work if he did?
What do the hotel surveillance tapes show after he returned that night? Did the family pack up and leave the hotel?
Has LE taken his car?
Has the ident unit gone to the hotel for forensic evidence?

I am sorry but it seems like this case was messed from the start.

I saw this last night on Nancy - totally despicable - such an epidemic in this country, writing off the youth so typically as runaways. Thank god for the video. God Bless to all of this young girls family and loved one.

It is horrible and shocking, but there is not much to investigate. It seems as though although LE was extremely bungling early on, they seemed to have caught up. The only real questions now are if there are accomplices.

I know EE and Hailey D are only a few hours apart....but does anyone believe they may be connected? I'm not so sure.......I think EE was a victim of circumstance......I think when the came back to the motel he "tried something" with EE and she attempted to escape and he did what he did then.........Hailey on the other hand, I'm just not sure ......but I don't think they will be connected in any way.
