Yes it's great that the judge didn't set him free and is keeping him locked up in juvie.

I'm confused as to how he could be moved to adult jail before February or even April as he has a determinate sentence. Can anyone shed light on this ?

Just heard on WFAA broadcast news that since EC's parents weren't at the hearing his half brother, Steven & his wife were there representing the family. Supposedly TC was willing to be at the hearing but her attorneys advised her not to. Actually, I feel sorry for Stephen & his wife. They are very young to have the responsibility of taking care of crazy momma & spoiled, wicked brat. Also they have 3 children of their own. Sometimes unfortunately, we don't get to choose our own relatives.
I don't understand. If the judge is going to decide today where EC will be held, why didn't he do it at this morning's hearing?
Why is Fred going to court in March?? I looked but could not find an issue for March 2016.
EC may be sent to adult jail because of his age. Listening to TV report yesterday
(sorry no link) the reporter mentioned EC going to adult jail until his birthday. There must be some unknown to us law or loop hole where this can happen, but it must be based on age IMO.
I read somewhere that Fred has a March court date on the charge of impersonating a police officer. I believe the incident happened last year. Sorry I can't be more specific but it was on one of the many articles from our DFW area news stations. Dallasnews.com, wfaa.com, or nbcdfw.com.

Wow! The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. This family deserves each other. I was beginning to think Daddy Couch was slightly better than Mom, but not after reading this article! No wonder he feels such a sense of entitlement. They face no real consequences for their actions, and when they do they try to buy their way out of it. CHUTZPAH!!!

Ok folks, I MAY have had a revelation that answers my own question. Suppose officials are worried about security during a transfer to adult jail? Maybe one of these mornings we will wake up & it is announced that the judge has ruled that EC goes to adult lockup & is, in fact, already there. If they move him in the middle of the night unannounced there will be no security concerns. After all, this is Texas & vigilante justice is not totally unheard of. This case IS a very emotional one.
