I agree. I just try to remember that when matching missing persons with Doe's, things can always be a little off.
I'm at work until 6 PM so it will have to be later tonight, but I will call it in just in case.
Also, I was just remembering a news blurb from earlier this week about some theft that happened recently in Wylie at an Equine Therapy place that works with Special Needs children. I wonder if LE has checked with them to see if they maybe recognize this little boy. I will have to mention that when I call.
I think the place is called Equest but I might be wrong. I found that on Google but I don't recall the news blurb mentioning the name of it.

Yes, and Ethan weighed 36 lbs when he was taken a year and a half ago.
I'm just thinking that it's possible something could have happened to him in the meantime that would have caused him to need a feeding tube and lose so much weight.
As I said, the info we have about this child Doe doesn't seem to match with Ethan, but I felt compelled to post it anyway. The similarities in the mouth is what struck me first, but the eyes seem quite similar too.

ITA, that looks just like him, teeth, eyes, down to his mouth expression.

I'm a very shy person (internet excluded) and I hate even ordering a pizza.
I found an email address for Wylie PD and I submitted Ethan's info to them.
If anyone feels up to calling this info in as well, please do so. I would never sit on information that could maybe help a case like this, but the thought of calling was making me super nervous.

This one looks more like him to me. His nose is very narrow, so the other little guy just doesn't fit that description...but this one looks quite like him to me. He even uses a G-tube for feedings.

And I am very much like you, very shy. I about died when I had to call someone recently, and actually wrote it out first so I would just have to read it, lol. Painfully shy, I believe is the term.

OK, I realize that they are saying they think this is a 5 or 6 year old that LOOKS more like a 3 year old because of size, etc.
But he has some similarities to this boy that was abducted by his non-custodial mother from Houston in Oct. 2009.
While the info we have would suggest this isn't Ethan, the mouth and eyes struck me as so similar to this poor little angel and I felt I needed to post this, just in case.

I could not find info. on him from your link....but FWIW....you said October 2009....that is not a year and a half ago....it is only 6 months ago. :angel:

I do have a question that I can't seem to find an answer to so far...was the lake and the surrounding area searched to see if there is possibly another victim who could have been the caretaker of this child? That would certainly explain why no one had reported him as missing--IF they were missing also.

I compared the pictures of the unidentified boy and little Max and I am 90% sure they are the same. Even down to the feeding tube. I hope we hear soon.

Did someone call this in? They look very similar and would not be surprised if it were the same person.

Police release computer-generated photo of boy found in Wylie

"There was no obvious trauma on the body. It appears the boy had significant medical needs. The child showed signs of being fed through a feeding tube," said one official.

Police said the child had been at the park about 24 hours but they say they don't know how long the little boy was dead.

The Collin County Medical Examiner performed an autopsy on Thursday, but at this point, was not able to determine a cause of death.

Police Release Sketch Of Unidentified Deceased Boy

"We need to get this child identified, that's our main concern right now," said Venice Perepiczka, with the Wylie Police Department. "Home daycare providers, parents, grandparents, anyone who might know this child is to contact us and help identify this child."

Police say it appeared the child had been dead no more than 24 hours and they don't know how the body got to the park.

Investigators say there are no reports of missing children from the area that match the boy.

Here are two RSO's that live right there at East Fork Park, where the child was found. Both have convictions of crimes against children. If one of them did it, perhaps they left the child there intentionally so they could watch the drama unfold when the child was found.
