theres two ways to get to the entry, you can go from chestnut south to E2ND street and go straight it turns into 163 follow it to 2183, and the other is from cestnut to hickory and west on I 20 to exit 210 witch is the same road but comming from a different direction.
sorry this is to answer a question for some reason i didnt quote it but its to oriah"s question.

Thanks ajk, that's exactly what I was asking. :)

I am trying to grid out areas S of I-20 and N of I-20 via Chestnut or Hickory, but it's much easier when there's a local who can tell how routes would be driven vs walked, etc.
Thanks again.

I am in Search and Rescue. We search for missing persons using dogs. When I am following a case to which I am not local, it's my nature to pull up maps and look at the area to think about where a missing person might be located. The same way I would if I were working a live case local to my area, prior to a search. Does this help explain? :waitasec:
the road 163 is alot more secluded and has a power plant to pass before you tunr to 2183. and I 20 route is used of course more frequently. and has more traffic.

Mine had off two weeks. Days run together when ya have nothing specific to do. I'm a stay at home mom and I have a hard time keeping days my straight. If it's a 3 day weekend for hubby or son...I am screwed up for days![/quote

I stay home too, but I know exactly what I thought when I got up Christmas Monday morning. AFTER CHRISTMAS SALES........GIFT CARDS---RETURN A GIFT THAT DOESN'T FIT
People know what they are doing the day after xmas and the following Monday.

Not ALL people do. I don't understand how you can keep saying everyone/all/etc know and keep track of exact plans and whatnot. I think quite a few of us don't. LOL

I agree with you. Add to the fact that a tragic event...the disappearance of a young girl/daughter happened just after Christmas...I would think this time frame would be embedded in many people's mind, especially the family. However, I guess for students and other community members, they heard Hailey was a runaway and perhaps weren't as involved at that point.

I'm just constantly amazed with this missing child case. BD's friend on here says to please not believe what Byerley has stated to news crews, but here it seems as if BD herself is is saying that at least some of what this woman says is true. So which part are we not to believe??

Locals who claim to know the family say Hailey’s life is more complicated than the version that is being pushed given to at the media.
Donna Byerley, who was introduced to the family after a friend dated a relative of Billie Jean, has described the girl’s home life as “volatile at times.” She said Hailey didn’t get along with her mother’s boyfriend and described Hailey herself as wandering “here and there,” coming and going largely “as she pleases.”
Byerley said in an interview Friday that Hailey stayed with her and her boyfriend off and on, including the final two weeks of the 2009-10 school year.
“The last few weeks, perhaps month, she was living with her dad because she doesn’t like (Billie Jean’s) boyfriend,” Byerley said.
Billie Jean said Hailey also stayed at her dad’s house for less than a month at a time but has always wanted to come back home and that her daughter had at one point moved to Snyder and enrolled in school there while staying with extended family.

“I let her try it out for a minute,” she said in reference to Hailey staying with family members. “I couldn’t let her stay longer than that and, really, she didn’t want to anyway.”

Then we have this statement that leaves me wondering. Was HD not allow her to live with him right now because of the HUD, because there was no room where he was? What does he mean that he had to work hard to be a half a block away? Why was she going to live with CD? Was it just because that's where HD wanted to be or for some other reason?

Clint said the couple had plans for Hailey to move in with him in the future yet had no comment as to why. “I had to work hard to get to be a half a block away so I could see her from my back door,” he said. “I tried to stay as close to her as I could.”

I am very concerned about thier updates every other day...this leads me to believe the focus of thier investigation HAS changed and we may no longer be in search and Rescue mode :(

Is the power plant entirely enclosed/secured, do you know? And does it run power off of a water source, or use water as a waste/by product source?

I sure hope those 12 agencies did a very THROUGH search of the Registered Sex Offender's homes!!!! Especially, since one of them is friends with CD and was going out to search for Haley!!

Any reason why there is not more talk on here about the Four RSO's who lived within homes and blocks of HD and that is just the ones in close prox, there are many more!

Map attached!

Here is the RSO that is being spoken of link:

I am going to now CREATE a detailed map to share with Sex Offender information. I am not sure if it has been done, but if so my guess is it is buried back on one of the other threads. Give me a few to complete.

I have no recollection what I did the day after Christmas, or what my son did on the following Monday. I KNOW for sure that I no way in heck would go out to return a gift or hit sales. I don't do Black Friday either. Kids were probably in and out of here all day. I couldn't name who all and what times if my life depended on it, as it's a constant thing.

( I do know what I did Christmas Day)

Due to sick kids, med changes and time outs, I have missed some things and have a couple of questions...

Have RSO's definitively been ruled out?

Also, did CD ever live at the 1143 Chestnut Street address that is mentioned in this article?

The reason I'm asking (and maybe this has already been discussed) is that there is an RSO who lives directly across the street from this address. I am curious to know if that person has been thoroughly investigated, since I feel that it is possible that they may have resided there at the same time that CD resided at the above address, if he did indeed reside there. He may have had contact with Hailey, if that were the case.

And here's the map... http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=U...77457840198355.000498a54a49c9ef478db&t=h&z=10

I thought I'd read yesterday(?) that LE was going to release a video of Hailey walking (but IIRC it was supposed to be an earlier video, not from the day of or since her disappearance). Has it been released yet or did I somehow miss it? TIA

Police are following new leads in a case involving a missing Texas teen.

It's been two weeks since anyone has seen 13-year-old Hailey Dunn.

Police are interviewing students who say they saw Dunn before she disappeared, but said many aren't sticking to the same story.

****I would keep an eye on this one moo

Are you kidding??? Clinically speaking, the young adolescent brain does not have a fully developed frontal lobe (which houses higher-level thinking). The prefrontal cortex is the area of the brain controlling planning, working memory, organization, and mood modulation. This area of the brain is not really mature until about 18 years of age. Thus, memory lapse is common occurance. Emotion can also work against them if a they feel threatened or scared. Something as simple as being called on to answer a question in class can feel like a threatening situation for some kids. Imagine the stress these kids feel talking to investigators. Imagine the stress and emotions they are dealing with in knowing their friend is missing or worse abducted.

It is tough enough getting adolescents to remeber what homework is due. Or where they left their cell phone, ipod, or their missing sweatshirt. Re-interviewing them 3 weeks after Hailey went missing...what do the investigators expect? My heart goes out to these poor kids.
