According to WFAA Williams' mother says in her deposition that Eric was good to his younger sister. My question is, why hasn't his sister testified about what a wonderful brother he is?????????????

Too bad her <modsnip> son didn't consider how his actions would affect her health.

I do feel sorry for his mom. It is only natural that a mother loves her child regardless of what they have done. Unfortunately, a mother cannot control the actions of their adult children.

Oh, I agree. He thought he was too smart to be caught and was so focused on revenge he didn't consider how this could affect his own family.

Just starting to watch todays parade of high school buddies...can't believe what the defense started out with today...wanted Eric to go somewhere to get a brain scan as he may have damage due to the diabetes<<<<unbelievable....then he complained that judge is limiting him to just today as he has many many more witnesses<<<<and they are reading twitter about how the judge feels towards the defense...this is all too much

anyone else have thoughts on the judge's demeanor in the williams case. Boy I feel that same as he does but I must say he is at this point so obviously disgusted with the defense attorneys and their behavior that clearly the jury sees this and I would think it could be argued it could influence their decision here. The judge's whole personality seems to have changed and he just keeps making faces and they are not subtle. I was reading some of his bio and he is extremely experienced and well liked and I have liked him in this case but do wonder what is happening in this courtroom. Whether he likes it or not he needs to appear unbias.

I'm sure it is extremely hard for the judge or anyone else in the court room not to appear disgusted. The defense simply doesn't have any defense.

I agree defense has no defense and I roll my eyes just watching this at home...but I am not an elected professional judge presiding over a dp case. He is no doubt allowing this to avoid appeal and I get that...but I think he should hide his feelings better so as to not appear that he should be sitting at the prosecution table. I have been a big fan of this judge and just can't help but notice how much he changed during this relatively short trial...it is indeed a fine art to balance the rights of the defendant here and the jury and also the prosecution.

sorry but i watch another witness go into the "scout" history of Eric Williams I think he should wear his uniform with Eagle decor for the execution...

trying to figure out how all these people from his hometown can get up there and say williams did not do it and pledge their support. Most of them have had no contact with him since high school...I try to image myself doing that for friends from high school that i have no contact with...this whole group must be in denial. Oh wow...now the guy is describing his pins on his lapel...all scout related. The BSA should sue the defense.

AZEL Texas = denial....must be some place where those raised there cannot comprehend that people change and can do bad things....do they think they are living in Camelot?

some of the defense guys are old and yet they act as if they have never tried a case? just gave witness photos that they had never entered with the court into evidence.
