The Detective does not say.Any idea of which intersection?

The truck is not the mother’s. The Nissan is.No...I listened again. The truck (owned by the mother and the one that the step father says he was in the back of) was seen in video going through an intersection in SugarLand TX.
Great questions.I want to know Mom’s timeline: When did she leave town? Why did she leave town when daughter was ill? When did she come back exactly? Why did she shrug off not being picked up? What is her reason for not calling police? Who exactly called 911? So many questions...
I listened again and not sure which vehicle is in the video. The truck is not the mother’s. The Nissan is.

A frantic search was underway in Texas Sunday for a 5-year-old girl whose stepfather told police she was kidnapped by three men who assaulted him during a carjacking, authorities said.
Her stepfather, whose name was not released, told police that he was driving to the airport to pick up Maleah's mother when he noticed something wrong with his vehicle and pulled over, according to Houston Police Department officials. He told police the suspects approached him and he initially thought they were going to offer to help.
Instead, they ended up assaulting him and knocking him unconscious, police said.
The stepfather said that when he regained consciousness, he was lying on the side of the road with his 2-year-old son, who also wasn't named, authorities said.
But Maleah and his blue 2010 Chevrolet crew cab pickup truck were gone, according to police.
He said he flagged down a passerby, who drove him to a hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries, police said. His toddler was not harmed.
While at the hospital, the stepfather called a relative and asked them contact the police, authorities said.
Maleah was last seen in the vehicle with the men on the Southwest Freeway near State Highway 6 in Sugar Land, about 22 miles southwest of Houston, police said.
Amber Alert issued after 5-year-old girl allegedly abducted by 3 carjackers: Police
She is and I love that happy little grin. For all she’s been thru recently, her little spirit comes shining thru.
So two different stories of how he got to hospital.During a press conference, Houston police detectives said Derion Vence was on his way to Bush Intercontinental to pick up Maleah Davis' mother when he said he pulled over to the side of the road near Highway 6 and Greens Road to check his tire. Vence said he was approached by two men in a blue Chevrolet cab pickup before he was knocked unconscious.
There was another man waiting in the car when the attacked happened.
This happened at about 9 p.m.
Maleah and the other one hit him in the head. The men then put Vence, Maleah and Vance's 2-year-old son in their blue pickup and drove off.
Vence said he was in and out of consciousness and didn't really know where he was until 6 p.m. Saturday. He told police when he woke up he was somewhere off Highway 6 in the Sugar Land area with his two-year-old in his arms.
He said he walked around and asked people for help but no one would come to his aid so he walked to Sugar Land Methodist with his son. He is said to have arrived at the hospital between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m.
The 2-year-old was not injured, according to police.
Maleah's mother called someone else to pick her up from the airport when Vence didn't show up. Police said she was flying in from Massachusetts.
Houston police said traffic cameras captured Vence's vehicle in Sugar Land around 3 p.m. Saturday. The vehicle was just purchased and has temporary tags with the license plate 3092G9.
Police are not only looking for Maleah, but they are also looking for Vence's car and the blue Chevrolet crew cab pickup that the suspect's were driving.

Right. And when he came to his two-year-old was in his arms?! Just waiting patiently for 24 hours for his dad to wake up, like two-year-olds do. I hope Maleah is found safe and soon, but nothing about this sounds good.24 hours on the side of the road
