Early May 2022, Colin drives to Tucson, AZ to train. Armstrong joins him there with the intent to join him on the drive back to Texas, stopping in West Texas first for a race along the way.
His relationship with Armstrong at this moment was "very smooth."
Strickland did not communicate with Mo at any point during this drive.

State now asking about his motorcycles, to which he responds that he has three. At the time of the murder, he primarily drove his BMW motorcycle. Asking about seat positioning (sit further up with passengers) and helmets (he always wore one. Armstrong had her own).

Strickland discusses timeline of relationship, says at times it was "extremely comfortable and loving" but wasn't sure if it would work long-term. On and off. Says Armstrong ended up moving in when apt flooded during a freeze.

Strickland says he did not date other women when there was a break in the relationship, but he did explore the thought of dating other women. Maintains that he and Wilson were just friends.

State is questioning Strickland about an event in Arkansas that culminated in Strickland/Armstrong breaking up in October 2021. He says Armstrong was upset that he went on a mountain bike ride with some other female (pro) cyclists & didn't invite her.

When Strickland & Armstrong got home, the relationship was over. They had fought about Strickland not inviting Armstrong on a short mountain bike ride with Wilson and others to a coffee shop. Strickland: "She had just obtained the bike & didn't have the skill to even ride it."

I wish we knew what theory the defense was going with — because they sure didn’t point it out during their opening statement! Like are they planning to make CS look guilty? What would be his motive to kill Moriah though? Or are they banking on the holes they plan to poke in the state’s case or what they’ll argue is weak and/or compromised evidence?

Someone asked Alex when he says KA is staring straight ahead, what is she looking at. Here's his response:

From Kaitlin's vantage point you would have to look slightly to the left to see the witness stand (think: 10 o'clock). To me, it's almost as if she's just staring straight ahead at the judge (12 o'clock). Of course, I can't say for certain what she's looking at, but she's definitely not pivoting her gaze between questions and answers, like I've seen other defendants do. It's as if she's zoned out. Maybe meditating. Or maybe just listening intently, but not necessarily looking at every speaker.

He changed her name in his phonebook to a different alias: Christine Wall. Again, he says he was trying to avoid confrontation.
On May 10, Mo told Colin that she would be flying into Austin before competing in Hico. Colin responds, suggesting a short training ride in #ATX.

Colin now shares his memories of May 11, 2022, the day Mo Wilson was killed.
-He wakes up and goes on a 3-hr bike ride with a male friend and Armstrong. Armstrong could not keep up and turned back after the first half hour.
-He can't recall much of that afternoon, but knew he had to rush to a dentist appointment in NW Austin
-Colin says he introduced Armstrong to many men/women in the cycling community. She was managing many aspects of his career. He loved her and she loved him, he says.
-Colin says Armstrong owned a black Jeep with a bike rack, driven solely by her
-Colin says Armstrong's sister, Christy, lived in Austin early 2022. But not in April or May 2022.
-Back to May 11: Mo went on a solo ride. Colin knows this because Mo sent a picture of herself riding. They discussed meeting up after her ride. "I wanted to greet her in my home city," Strickland says.

-Plans to meet were finalized over text. Mo provided the address she was staying.
-Colin didn't tell Armstrong that he was meeting with Mo
-Colin drives to Cash's apartment and they left for Deep Eddy pool. The temperature was 100+. They swim, get food and he drops her off.
-The previous Oct. when they had their romantic relationship, Colin had visited Cash's apartment.
-When he arrived in May, Colin walked up the stairs and went inside Cash's apartment while she gathered her things. This lasted less than 10 minutes.
-The two left on the motorcycle with Mo wearing Colin's helmet, riding on the back

Inside the courtroom, Colin is be asked to look at surveillance video from the Pool Bar.
You can see Colin and Mo sitting at the table. Colin is wearing a dark tank, dark shorts and yellow baseball hat. Mo is facing the camera and is wearing a blue dress and black hat, similar to the outfit we've seen in the crime scene photos at the site of the murder. Colin is showing his phone to Mo in this video. Timecode shows 6:57pm.
