Now Colin is being asked to review a receipt from Pool Bar. Shows a number of alcoholic beverages and food. Colin Strickland's name is on the credit card receipt. A different receipt now with more beverages. Mo Wilson's name is listed on this receipt.

The turnover among LE in this case is noteworthy. So many were in APD a short time and have gone on to other things.

-He puts bike on kickstand, Mo gathers her things, gives Colin a hug, says they will see each other in Hico and Colin takes off. Colin says it lasted two minutes. He did not go into Cash's apartment. Colin watched her go upstairs.
-Colin did not inform Armstrong that Mo was in Austin. He did not tell her where she was staying.
-Colin says that Mo and Armstrong were not friends, not acquaintances and has no reason to believe Mo shared her address with Armstrong.

-He remembers having a 7-minute phone call with a friend named Allen from his home. He was advising him on bike parts
-Colin never left the house for the remainder of the evening
-Colin texted Armstrong about plans for the next morning. Armstrong never responded

-Colin sleeps at the house and so does Armstrong.

Colin now speaks about morning of May 12, 2022:
-He was working on a bike in the garage when two men approached. He believed they were code enforcement. They were detectives with APD and they tell him Mo Wilson was killed.
-They ask him if he knows "Anna Mo." That name did not ring a bell. Later, after rephrasing, he recognized it to be Mo Wilson.
-Colin says he was "shell-shocked"

-At this time, he did not know how or where she had been killed. Thus, he could not pass that info along to Armstrong
-At APD, they took his cell and took him to a room for questioning. He was there for 6.5 hours

-He never saw Armstrong again after that

At one point, it seemed as if he wasn't receiving text messages from Mo anymore. Strickland admits that Armstrong is "more sophisticated with electronics" than he is.
In January 2022, Colin and Armstrong traveled to a world championship racing event in Bentonville, AR. Mo Wilson was at the event and he saw her a couple of times in person.
Colin reveals that Armstrong was acting as a manager to his business interests. Controlled his passwords, social media accounts, financial accounts and records.

So what did he expect - he could have changed his password months back, and bought a new phone dedicated to business, but didn't. Hid Mo under a fake name in his contacts and thought life would be good? He didn't think KA would snoop around on all text threads?

For some reason, I was thinking that Kaitlin and Colin had a much longer relationship. It surprises me that at her age (I am 5-7 years older) that she reacted like this over a guy she met on a dating app and had only dated for 3-4 years, it seems.
I wish we knew more from former partners or friends.

I also wish we had some history for KA other than rumors we've read online, which really aren't much.

Colin says he had a text thread with Mo Wilson going during his California trip. He deleted it before meeting with Armstrong in Tucson because he "didn't want to agitate the defendant."

Colin now shares his memories of May 11, 2022, the day Mo Wilson was killed.
-He wakes up and goes on a 3-hr bike ride with a male friend and Armstrong. Armstrong could not keep up and turned back after the first half hour.
-He can't recall much of that afternoon, but knew he had to rush to a dentist appointment in NW Austin
-Colin says he introduced Armstrong to many men/women in the cycling community. She was managing many aspects of his career. He loved her and she loved him, he says.
-Colin says Armstrong owned a black Jeep with a bike rack, driven solely by her
-Colin says Armstrong's sister, Christy, lived in Austin early 2022. But not in April or May 2022.
-Back to May 11: Mo went on a solo ride. Colin knows this because Mo sent a picture of herself riding. They discussed meeting up after her ride. "I wanted to greet her in my home city," Strickland says.
