This is so sad!! IMO if the courts felt he was okay to leave on the bond and he made the bond and is following the orders of his release then it is not reason for anyone to be threatened, the bondsman or otherwise. Even if he does break the rules of his release, he is the ONLY one who would be guilty of that, not the person(s) who helped him with his release. Innocent until proven guilty -no matter what the evidence suggests. I shouldn't be shocked that threats are being received but really, it helps no one and if anything will make the church members go quiet instead of coming forward with what they may possibly know to the police.

BBM- that's exactly what I was thinking. Fear will keep them in hiding and keep them quiet. Things are not looking great for him but it is possible, even likely, that if he is responsible, he was well liked and lived a fairly "normal" life from the public perspective. We cannot judge others from not believing he is capable of such a crime until when/if he is found guilty. It is so hard to imagine someone you love being capable of such horrific crimes and is human nature to be blinded by the facade and lies. So even IF they posted his bond, they should not be threatened. JMO.

Can anyone tell me if I have this right - is the field directly across the street from Restland Cemetery? Between the school and the church?
I ask because I keep seeing reference to the college.

Maria Guerrero is reporting the same thing in the comments on her own video posted earlier (here: https://www.facebook.com/MariaGuerreroNews/videos/1039359222873528/ ). Dogs have been brought in.

Reporter Maria Guerrero was live at Richardson Police Dept (on her day off, no less).

ETA: HUGE: Maria and her colleague asked the church elder if they bonded WM out. They said NO. they are receiving threats and having serious problems because of that rumor.

I feel like on other peoples cases you could view who bonded them out.....but I cant find his case

Wonder if there is a significance to Richland College Either parent attend there? Teach there?

Act Quick Bail Bonds

That's what I see, too. It doesn't say who provided the 10% to Act Quick, in order for them to back the bond. But the family may have had that readily available. Especially if he has large extended family in Texas.

Thanks for sharing this! I looked up the Penal Code and it says:

http://codes.findlaw.com/tx/penal-code/penal-sect-22-041.html

"(b) A person commits an offense if, having custody, care, or control of a child younger than 15 years, he intentionally abandons the child in any place under circumstances that expose the child to an unreasonable risk of harm."

"(F)
An offense under Subsection (c) is a state jail felony."

http://www.tcjs.state.tx.us/docs/Offense%20Severity%20Scale.pdf

and this link says that his charge of 22.041(b) F3 is "High" severity.

ETA: Also looked to see what a "State Jail Felony" sentencing looks like and google says "Sec. 12.35. STATE JAIL FELONY PUNISHMENT. (a) Except as provided by Subsection (c), an individual adjudged guilty of a state jail felony shall be punished by confinement in a state jail for any term of not more than two years or less than 180 days."

If they find Sherin very close to the house as far as miles etc goes, what are the chances that they will argue that she did, in fact, wander off and made it that far and someone else did her harm? Is this even remotely a possibility at all that it really is one huge accident due to negligence? We see evil everyday and it's still so hard to swallow that anyone could hurt a toddler :(

He's responsible for whatever happened to her. He put her outside at 3am in an area he knew coyotes frequented and made no effort to find her for 5 hours. Whether someone else took her, she wandered off and fell into a pond or a coyote dragged her off---it's all on him.

YES. And if we were permitted to discuss those news reports about the church bonding them out, I would offer that it is likely that a family connection within the church was involved in that, and these local congregants would not have been involved.

But I'll behave. (Just hate to see good people maligned.)

Just looking at bail bonds and the frequently asked questions and it says that "Most bail bonds agents typically charge 10-15% of the full bond amount. This can be higher or lower depending on the circumstances and the location of the arrest... You will not get this money back. You can also sign over collateral or property like a house, car, jewelry, or other goods..."

So by reading that I am assuming that he or his wife or family came up with the 10-15% because you do not get it back and IMO that would be asking a LOT from a church to GIVE knowing that they will not receive that money back from the bond company even if the person they are investing in obeys every turn of their release to a T.

Well, he did say that he intended to wait for her to come home rather than go back outside and look for her.

She repeats it again when there is only 3:09 min. left on the video.
Also, reported that mom's parents live in Houston and that WM has lots of family in and around texas. She got the number for WM's brother, but when she called the man who answered said she had the wrong number and hung up.

BBM

Thanks for posting.

Sadly, yes :( that's what the charge is :(
I think that alone says a TON about what LE found when they decided to arrest him straight away instead of just putting eyes/tail on him.
Poor Sherin
