Has there been LE or MSM confirmation that she went to preschool on Friday until 4? Sorry in advance if this has been posted already. I've been looking for that info, and can't find it. I do know that the preschool has 3 plans (2 days, 3 days, or 4 days a week) and they have extended hours before and after school to accommodate family work schedules. So if she was there Friday, she could have been there until 5 or 5:30. But we don't know if she was there Friday. Because LE has said they know who was the last to see her, but haven't said who that was and where/when that was.

Not to my knowledge, and that's a good point. One of the murkier parts of the timeline. All the more reason to wonder if LE have been checking video prior to Saturday morning, I guess.

As I recall from checking the school's website, their "extended day" ends at 4 pm on Fridays. (Going on memory, here.)

They are quite disgusting. I had mine one year before dumping it on the recommendation of a doctor. I have a friend who claims she can thoroughly clean that rubber in the front but it does not spin and you will put your neck out doing it right. It grossed me out anyway just thinking about what was trapped in there, and my specialist said people with autoimmune and allergy issues should never use one of these. That gave me a good reason to get a new one and never have to clean that thing again.

I hope they had a front loader in particular. There will be residue in any kind of washing machine, but a front loader may be a goldmine of evidence.

Wow, I never knew any of this about front loaders! I'll appreciate my ancient top loader a little bit more.

Just a FYI and a bit off topic. The filters on these should be emptied at a minimum of once a month. If it is clogged then water never fully drains ( yup the dirty water) which is why then you get yuck in the rubber seal, door and in between tumbler and machine.
Filter is at the bottom near the floor. Take a towel and a candle.

Or get rid of it! [emoji3]

The way LE is talking, it seems like they feel there are two plausible options. That Sherin was killed, or possibly given away?

Would they sell her thinking no one would notice? (I personally think little Sherin is no longer with us :( ) jmo

In either case, I haven't heard that any family members are looking for her and that is very very telling. Statistically speaking, when a parent clams up and especially when the spokesperson becomes an attorney it's typically because they did something wrong. Ara Andressian is a prime example of an outlandish story by the parent, with a very sad outcome for the child. :(

We wanted to share an update of where we are in our investigation of the Sherin Mathews case. Detectives have been going door-to-door at businesses and locations that may have additional information and evidence important to this case. Searches being conducted are very specific as we learn more through evidence being collected. Much of the evidence we have obtained requires analysis which takes time to process at a forensic level. As you may have learned from news media, many items collected through search warrants are also being analyzed. As we continue, findings will be available less often due to the sensitive nature of what is discovered. If you have information or video related to this investigation, you can contact us at 972-744-4800. We appreciate the continued support as we move forward. #sherinmathews

My opinion only, but I think he buried her or stashed her in something and it sounds to me that they just need to figure out where the dirt/foliage or debris or they found in car or laundry or shoes or other item(s) came from.

While attempting to better organize news articles, videos, reports, etc that I have saved thus far, I ran across the video (dated 10/11/17) of Sini Mathews' attorney making a statement again.

It occurred to me that this video, though very short, is perfect material for....
The Kent Starr Drinking Game ;)

If you had to take a shot every time he said "the mere fact" and/or "not indicative," you'd be hammered by the end of that 5 minute clip.... guaranteed.

I seem to recall that one state (Oregon perhaps) omitted the age limit from their first iteration of Safe Haven law. And they quickly found themselves dealing with people driving in from other states to drop off their troubled teenagers.

Thanks for the laugh at this visual image!

With all the seriousness of this case, reading this, was a pleasant change.

There has been NO mention of whether there is a babysitter or not and this is all assumption on my part, but I really had hoped that perhaps Sini and WM had maybe picked the kids up from school, brought them home, had them fed and left them with a sitter, went out for a date as many couples do and came home -possibly after having a drink or two with dinner or friends etc, and they go to sleep. Dad gets up with a very upset Sherin at 3am and things go BAD, dad may have been intoxicated partly or still and he didn't know his limits and before you know it Sherin is gone and 5 hours have passed before he is thinking in a good enough mindset to call LE...

Again, purely speculation, not an ounce of this has been verified or mentioned, but in my mind I can see a substance or something at least semi justifying why the story is so scattered like WM was putting together several different thoughts and why Sini could have slept through what sounds to be a fair bit of commotion.

What came to mind when I initially saw his conditions of release and that he is not to use drugs or alcohol at all and must submit to random urine testing. Where I live this is only ever checked if these are an issue for the person and even more specifically it seems that those are only checked if the person was actually under the influence at the time of their crime (or it has been an issue in the past).

Again, I DO NOT KNOW if WM has these issues, BUT another "story" I have thought of is he woke up at 3am to meet a possible dealer at that tree and something happened during this time frame that resulted in wherever Sherin is now, or, he went out to the tree and the person didn't show up or he heard her awake, went back into the house after 15 mins and she was wanting milk, he took her and put her in the car and called to meet the person, he runs out at 4 am for this meetup and Sherin is still fussy or angry or demanding the milk and he can't deal with it -he is tired, she has ruined his high or stopped a deal from happening and he dumps her...

Again JMO, pure speculation. He doesn't look like he is a substance user, but then again a ton of people don't. I just think for MY MIND it is easier to rationalize abuse and even death occurring when someone is NOT in their right mind because of a substance...

I have SOOOO many possible scenarios in my mind and theoretically, based on what we have been told, they all could fit, which is scary and likely the problem LE is having, they probably also feel they have TOO MANY options as to what happened and have no clue which way is the right way...

Before I had seen the Bond conditions I never even considered a substance could be involved, but with that and then some of the other posts suggesting an affair, financial issues etc made my mind go down this road... I am more than sure that LE knows if he was intoxicated or not and I realize they are being very tight lipped and with the statement earlier it sounds like we should expect it even more. One of our theories will likely be right, and that alone is scary :(

Thanks for posting.

What a great statement to the public from LE imo, thorough, polite and sensible. It seems in this advancing electronic age, LE has more pressure and willingness to communicate with and update the public electronically. We are seeing this more and more, moo.

Patna: National Commission for Women (NCW) has said that it will take up the case of the girl, who went missing in the United States recently, with the Indian embassy in the US. The girl was adopted by an American couple of Indian origin.

NCW member Sushma Sahu told News18 that the commission was in the process of collecting all the details from the concerned authorities.

“We will contact the Indian embassy in the US and also external affairs ministry in this regard. Though the news is widely reported in the US, there is lack of information about the girl in Bihar,” She said.

All the talk of coyotes made me remember a case from Australia decades ago:

Azaria Chamberlain (11 June 1980 – 17 August 1980) was an Australian 2-month-old baby girl who was killed by a dingo on the night of 17 August 1980 on a family camping trip to Ayers Rock (also known as Uluru) in the Northern Territory. Her body was never found. Her parents, Lindy and Michael Chamberlain, reported that she had been taken from their tent by a dingo. Lindy Chamberlain was, however, tried for murder and spent more than three years in prison. She was released when a piece of Azaria's clothing was found near a dingo lair, and new inquests were opened. In 2012, some 32 years after Azaria's death, the Chamberlains' version of events was officially supported by a coroner.

Sometimes even the most bizarre stories are eventually found to be true. It just reminds me to keep an open mind.

This was prob the worst i have seen of someone giving a statement who is a lawyer... he said she is "mourning" multiple times... when I saw it originally when it came out my first response was "why are you in mourning if you don't know anything at this point?" I just feel like this lawyer was very telling in his choice of words :(

O/T When we replaced ours I chose the old school Speed Queens (like they have in laundromats) partly because I learned that we would have to reinforce the floor to accomodate a front loading washer and partly because my kids have them and they seem to take forever. Now I'm glad I did!

Back on topic: Just a shout out to you, AnaPisces, SBHack, Rocco and all the other members who are keeping us informed about the movement in little Sherin's case and for sharing your expertise, both legal and technical - thank you so much! All I can do is grumble about WM and his ridiculous explanations and hope she is found soon. IMO LE is getting to the heart of this case and I'm confident they will solve it!

If my history is correct this is actually where the saying "Maybe the dingo ate your baby" stems from. We have heard and even said that so many times, especially after Seinfeld had an episode where Elaine said it at a party with a bad Australian accent, when I found out that the saying had come from a real case I felt pretty darned awful.

On to what you said though, its so true, any story, even WM's could be plausible. Despite what we all may think right now, he may have told the truth 100%, we just don't know. We can speculate, we can theorize, we can cast stones and so on, but maybe his story sounds so darned insane because the truth really is crazier than fiction!

I need to know where this filter is located?? Lol
I've had my front loader for a little over a year and it's a constant chore trying to to keep the rubber seal clean and free of debris. It's too new to put out on the curb or I would.

Great post. Perhaps the baby sitter is the person who saw her last (outside of the parents). Good thinking outside of the box!

I don't have a front loader, have an HE top loader and LOVE It, doesn't have these issues, BUT I follow a girl on YT who did an in depth video of cleaning her front loader, It was her first time and she was really thorough. Her name is Kasey Chagnon and her channel name is the same! She even cleans out this part and has a great personality!!

From Maria's indepth interview, she commented:

LE are not saying why they think this SUV was gone for an hour on the morning of her disappearance.

IIRC, a neighbor of WM has this on his home security video which he turned over to LE.
