Sini Mathews to Spend Thanksgiving in Jail, Bond Hearing Set

Sini Ann Mathews, the mother of a North Texas toddler who died under suspicious circumstances, has requested a bond reduction hearing in her child endangerment case.
With the bond hearing scheduled for 9 a.m. Nov. 27, she is expected to remain in jail through Thanksgiving.

Police now say the biological daughter of Wesley and Sini Mathews is 3-years-old, not 4-years-old, as mentioned in previous reports. The child will turn four in December

Bond reduction for Sini? NO. The public needs facts, answers; the autopsy report! This woman is not cooperating, and the public needs to feel safe. I would not feel safe with her out of jail at this time. Would you?

I *believe* they take this into account when setting bond amounts. Anyone who is local to this area may want to let RPD know they would not feel safe with WM or SM being able to make bond and ask how one can get this information to the prosecutor prior to this date. Of course, it will always be up to the judge, but a bunch of locals saying they fear for the safety of their children in separate notes to the court, may have some say.

But, like GrouchyMom said yesterday, they have 90 days for Sini and then they likely have to reduce her bond. Would love to know if they reduce it NOW if they have to reduce it again in 90 days?

If I remember correctly from Bella Bond’s case, a verified forensic pathologist said that it could be determined in autopsy. Impossible to find a link, so imo.

I would think that there would be a couple of indicators. One is that frozen cells "explode," owing to the expansion of water contained in them. The other would be that the decomposition would be less than expected given the approximate timeline and weather conditions, etc.

Most of Texas is in the Central time zone however the western tip of Texas (e.g. El Paso) is in the Mountain Time Zone. one hour ahead of Colorado

If you don’t embarrass easily a coffee shop could be fun with those links LOL. At my age I can definitely see the possibilities. No, I don't think this is likely. Culturally, this is not done to girls usually until the age of 6-7. I don't think this will come into play here. JMO
