I live less than an hour away. I know a lot of people who are friends with some of Missy's family and I have a lot of mutual friends with Missy's friends. DFW area is all sorts of intermingled in these smaller towns. Anyway, I fully believe it was CT and I will be shocked if it's not. I was on the RB train but after a lot of thought (weeks now), I don't think so.

I think AT has recently posted less and less on FB. He still does his posts for his professional blog and shares them to his personal wall. But I feel like he's more deflated than usual. It may be hard to keep up appearances if he knows or suspects something? JMO.

LE are good guys.They will take in account if the killer/killers has children.
They would not arrest someone IMO in front of their children.This is JMO.They are oing to wait until the children
are in school to make their move.
If the killer/killers have children,they not only left Missy's children motherless,but also their
own motherless and fatherless.All of these children are going to have a very hard life ahead of them.
It is really sad to think about.
I don't know what the motive is here,but I will say this,if was jealously or money.
This perp/perps was not even thinking of Missy's children nor their own.

Especially about the swat suit...

I was watching "Gotham" a while back and remembered a quote from Alfred to Bruce about picking your battles, don't let them pick you, timing is everything, and that you don't have to be stronger than your opponent to beat them, you just have to outlast them.

To think that Swatperp was stronger than MB means that anyone weaker could not be the perp...we can't rule that out.

So what do we know?

Fight or flight is the release of endorphins and uses a ton of energy. I believe MB would have quickly tired...that's all the perp needed...was for her to tire easily, not to necessarily overpower her.

The suit ensures that the perp wouldn't lose too much energy from being repeatedly hit and would act as protection to keep them from getting wounded to the point where they couldn't outlast her.

Maybe perp was stronger than her, but in fight or flight, she would have overpowered them (don't underestimate the strength of a human being in fear - even controlled fear).

So the gear ensures that they could outlast her without their physical body bearing the signs of a struggle, therefore, they could continue on with their lives seemingly undetected.

Also, some are surprised about the number of forces helping out with this investigation. You have to remember that the police said they haven't had a case like this in 9-10 years. If you want them to catch the perp, they're going to need assistance for guidance...and who better to bring in than forces with more experience?

While Midlothian is a suburb of Dallas, they don't have the murder rate or resources like Dallas has - or even the experience.

Motive: Personal & Professional Jealousy

IMO...You have a possible perp where LE is aware of the home bc of possible past domestic violence issues where police were called out; wife might have been the aggressor. Husband is former military & self-defense expert. Wife likely has above knowledge capabilities in self-defense & combat, too. Missy was fit & tough, but female perp was likely skilled enough to surprise attack and drop to the ground.

Background: Wife makes all the money working 9 years as a budget analyst at an aviation company. She's smart & successful with an MBA. She leaves her job one year ago & 3 months later becomes pregnant. So now you have a tsunami of things occurring: loss of major income and your 4th child on the way. She starts doing Mary Kay, another likely stressor, bc now two parents rely on unsteady income.

Right before pregnancy, daughter falls from the home stairwell balcony and suffers a broken jaw & brain injuries and is in ICU. She ultimately survives but requires longer hospital stay. More stressors.

Mom gets pregnant. During pregnancy, she posts selfies constantly and speaks about losing weight as soon as the baby arrives. She seems determined. She talks about getting in shape and going to the gym. When baby arrives, she's soon all about losing weight. But as the months move into February, she's not going to the gym as much nor losing the weight.

Soon her husband finds a great new job with a vibrant woman as a partner in the next town over. This woman is also a mom & wife and also runs her own business and seems to be loved by everyone. She's fit, bubbly and outgoing. Her husband and MB are working a lot and just all about helping other people with their goals! So mom and dad split time with the kids, but dad's new job requires him to do many classes early and late.

Missy is just like CT in her eyes. Missy's also a mom & runs her own business...And she's successful, healthy and fit. And everyone admires her. Even CT's husband. She can't take it anymore. The rage & jealousy builds. An emotional affair derives in her mind. Since she's smarter than all of us, in her eyes, perp thinks she can get away with it. She knows the ends and outs of that location, surveillance cams, when Missy will arrive, when campers will arrive & it won't be suspicious to be out early in the morning bc that's when she usually works out anyway.

April 16-17 Missy & AJ are heading to Austin for a work event.

One day before, April 15, a creepy message arrives to Missy on LinkedIn by unknown person.

April 18 - Missy is murdered with wounds to her head and chest, meaning the perp likely sat on top of her so she could see her eyes.

Husband never knows.

All of this JMO & my amateur profiling. I loved to hear others and any ideas!

All sounds great, just one thing to tweak though - Missy headed down to Austin on Thursday 14th, so she was there when she got the creepy message.

A convention for fitness trainers without spouses there would definitely have all spouses at home a little weary. Jmo.

Especially if these trainers don't even have a actual facility and just set up in parks or parking lots.

But I do understand that the convention is the sales pitch and showing of new products and ways to make money or to better the franchise for each director in their local vacinity.

Just for a change of focus, I'm going to toss something different out here. Lord knows how many threads back, a couple of posters wondered if the perp was a teenager. (I wasn't one). I've thought about since, so here goes.

A somewhat overweight teen is practically forced to take a fitness class, as in, 'if you don't get the weight off now it will be a life long battle.' The teen hates these classes. We don't know what kind of a trainer MB was. Was she encouraging if she saw a student struggling to keep up, or was she brutal?

Was this teen made fun of by some of the other students, who if they were also classmates, may have talked about them at school which made it worse.

Resentment builds, which turns to loathing. The teen gets tired of the criticism and every negative word from MB becomes magnified ten times. Some people can take criticism and it makes them work harder. Some can't. The teens absence from the class would be obvious, so not showing up wouldn't work.

A plan starts forming and the teen keeps thinking 'I'll show you'. People have killed for less.

Now, how did the teen get to the church and accumulate this mish mash swat outfit? I have absolutely no idea.

Yes. Since Day 3 (locally) many of us did. It had nothing to do with what we found online. It was actually someone innocent & close to Missy who had a gut instinct on this person from the start. Many of us locally knew this. So many scenarios were on the table, but IMO everything on the ground started coming together. The trash & LE at certain CG camps also came together. Plus some other things outside this forum that's allowed. I believe in the end it'll be a complex, fascinating set of circumstances that ultimately led LE to find the missing pieces. And as I've said all along, I hope this person is NOT the perp bc 7 total children will forever be affected by this senseless murder.

JMO, but I don't think CTs eye shape is the same as the person in the church video.

the only way I know how to get that post number is right click on the post # and then choose copy link. Then either copy past the post and post that link in ... thats how I learned. Maybe easier way but I dont know it

Just a FYI for the newbies....

This case will break wide open when you least expect it, just ask any of our seasoned members. LE has to dot all their I's and cross all their T's. So don't be disappointed there hasn't been an arrest yet. It will come.....just be patient.

In the meantime, I'll keep reading and waiting.

I would too but I would definitely seek help from an attorney to file a cease and desist order and probably make a statement in my family's defense. If locals are gossiping and suspicious, that family certainly knows about it. They should have nipped this in the bud IMMEDIATELY. It almost feels to me that they are trying to handle this on their own. JMO

1. IMO it looks like the perp picked up the pace just before he breaks a window which is when he seems to have found Missy.

2. I remember reading that LE wasn't sure which way the perp escaped which made me think Missy may have broken a window to the outside of the church to escape. Can anyone confirm if the room in which Missy was murdered, did in fact, have a broken window to the outside of the building?

3. It's perplexing that someone that looks doesn't look as physically fit as Missy would attempt to battle with her, BUT what if he/she was well trained in self-defense?

Only thing I know that we know is she was found in the SW corner of the Building and that Officers observed a female on the ground with glass around her. From Official Press Release and in search warrant
