Angela was celebrating the birth of twin grandchildren and was supposed to pick up her son at the airport, coming in for the holiday. I doubt Dallas, most likely Houston, but you never know. 220 miles might could be easily explained.

Tiffany was last seen at the Waffle House in Euless. From that address to this address is 14 miles - http://goo.gl/maps/SW9Av

The find Angela facebook page says that her truck was found in Huntsville, TX a couple of days ago (didn't see anything specific about the timing). That's straight up I-45 on the way to Dallas, it looks like: https://goo.gl/maps/8tmb8

Apologies if this is linked to above somewhere but it was new to me:
http://cw33.com/2015/01/03/body-of-decomposed-woman-found-at-bachman-lake/
This seems to indicate that the body was found in one of those drainpipes that run under the jogging path. There seems to be a handrail that I haven't seen on satellite photos so maybe it's new? It may have also discouraged other joggers/walkers from investigating a bad smell so we really have no idea how long she has been there... I have passed by bad stinks coming from drains and sewers many times and never thought to investigate as I have no experience to differentiate bad smells (well other than that dead mouse in the wall that one time and that one suspicious hot dog!)
All of the missing people mentioned above could be plausible victims :( With the low temperatures, sheltered site and yet extensive decomp reported I guess we should consider any female missing in a large time frame of 0-2 months...

Found the handrail. I think it's had a lick of paint in recent days. The tallish square tower across the lake also seems to jive with the abovementioned video footage.

This location also seems to match the pindrop in this news story so now I feel foolish sitting up until 1am last night!
http://www.wfaa.com/story/news/local/dallas-county/2015/01/03/womans-body-found-at-dallas-park/21229665/
This drainpipe seems to be fed by the stormwater drains at street level so I think maybe she was placed there rather than water transporting the body. So sad.

Aw, heck, Euc, it's good practice for the next case. I once reconnoitered the area when a guy went missing locally. Took notes, took pictures. Had to take the kiddo with me and she thought it was a grand adventure, helping me find "the guy who got lost." I was planning to post a comprehensive report when I got home and, when I did get home, the news was announcing that he'd seen himself on TV and called LE. He was fine, just not where he was supposed to be.

:gaah:

The most important part is the effort. It is great we have people who care so much they will go the extra mile. :) Bravo!

Interesting that the article from Saturday says they expected an ID by Sunday. I guess it didn't happen.

Strange after that video of the area played, the next video started automatically playing and it was of EA the guy in jail in the Christina Morris case.

Awesome sleuthing, Euc! I was completely stopping after the satellite images left the "3600 block". I wonder if it was the news reports or Google that was off on the address...

A lick of paint in recent days? Would be interesting to find out when exactly.

Recent in the sense that it has been painted sometime after the google image date of Jan 2013 which is the most recent google has available of that particular view.

On the facebook page of a news outlet that covered this story (WFAA) there is a commenter earlier today saying that the body has been identified by dental records and that the deceased is a missing person that was mentioned upthread. No MSM verification yet but I'll link to the page here in case anyone wants to see the comment:

You may have to dig a bit to see the comments as there are over 200 responses to the story

:( Sad news but somehow more comforting than when a person goes unidentified for ages...

Somehow, of all the possibles I suspected she was the one. I presume we have not gotten official confirmation from LE yet as to ID?

:( Praying hard for the family either receiving or awaiting news about their loved one.
