I feel like they're taking their time releasing any information found... building a case, maybe?

I'm sure there's a lot of stuff to go through from her boyfriend's apartment. I wish we could see the search warrant. It would tell us what they are looking for.

You may very well be right. And of course the search warrant would have to explain "probable cause" for expecting to find the specific items they are looking for in the boyfriend's apartment. We all know LE can't just get a search warrant for no reason. That would tell us a lot about the investigation and LE's thinking. But I'm just engaging in wishful thinking. We won't see the search warrant yet or perhaps ever.

I'm thinking they took luminol. Sorry to sound pessimistic, but what little I have seen on this case suggests this would be a logical next step.

I don't remember reading that...but sleep deprivation could be stunting my memory too.

You may be confusing this case with Typhenie Johnson. I haven't heard anything about Zuzu's phone except it was dead when they tried to call it.

You're right...I definitely did mix them up! I was reading Typhenie's thread just before I came to Zuzu's ..Ty for setting that straight!

That happens to me too! I'm following Autumn Sanville's disappearance in VT and I have to think twice before posting on each thread. Sleep well.

If we are talking about the same comments - I have read the same thing multiple times now. Local have been pointing this out from the very beginning, and as others have mentioned, in small-town cases, I think SM comments often turn out to be more than rumors. And it makes perfect sense: There was a 2+ day window in which no one -well, except for the perp ...- even realized that Zuzu was missing.

I already had a post removed earlier this week ... sometimes I have a hard time controlling my emotions especially with cases that anger me so much, and Zuzu's is one of them ... and I have the utmost respect for TOS and its enforcement -that is what keeps bringing me back to WS-, so I am not going to discuss anything else that is not allowed, but I am pretty confident in my theory as to what happened to Zuzu. I do not believe that there is a threat to the general public, but do believe that there is foul play involved. My only hope that Zuzu is found soon, followed by an rrest and swift justice. Keeping Zuzu and her family in my thoughts and prayers.

Answering my own question it is 10:32 AM there right now according to google. So news conference in an hour.
